The Seventh Trumpet
Revelation 10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
A mighty angel descends to the earth and announces the resurrection of the chosen dead in a voice like thunder and seven thunders also speak. These seven are probably other angels thundering their message, but what they say has been sealed until the actual speaking takes place. If anyone says that he knows what the seven thunders said; he is speaking falsely.
10:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal [close up and conceal] up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 10:6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer [there will be no more delay]: 10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God [the early spring resurrection and the change of God’s chosen to spirit] should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets.
10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.
John is told to take the little book of Revelation and eat it [internalize it] so that he might then write it out himself and send it to all the Ekklesia of God. The words of Revelation about the resurrection of the dead in Christ and their coming with Christ to establish a millennial kingdom of peace are as sweet as honey; but the fulfillment with all the accompanying sufferings are very bitter.
10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. 10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
It is when the seventh angel begins to sound that the resurrection of the dead and the change of the living in Christ will take place.
1 Thessalonians 4:13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
4:15 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
4:15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last [seventh] trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed [into spirit]. 15:53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
15:54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
As our Beloved comes to take up his collective bride and take them to the Wedding Feast in heaven, the wicked nations shall be enraged that those they hated are rewarded by God, and on hearing that the time of their judging has come.
Yet very many of Israel who have been warned by God’s servants and the 144,000, and will see the power of the Eternal in resurrecting his chosen; they shall then sincerely repent and being totally humbled shall at last be ready to accept and to follow Christ the Messiah!
After the resurrection of the early spring harvest of spiritual first fruits “Seven Last Plagues” shall be poured out upon the wicked as the Wedding Feast takes place in heaven.
Then Christ will return WITH his bride to put down all rebellion and wickedness; and the nations of Israel will turn to the Messiah and will rise up to fight the enemies of God and they shall be brought back from their captivity and shall yet inherit their land and dwell at peace under the mighty defense of their God.
Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
11:17 Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.
11:18 And the [unrepentant wicked] nations were angry, and thy wrath is come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that thou shouldest give reward unto thy servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear thy name, small and great; and shouldest destroy them which destroy the earth.
11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
After the chosen are resurrected to spirit, they gather at the crystal court of the heavenly Temple before the throne of God the Father for the heavenly marriage of the Lamb; during which time the last seven plagues are poured out on the wicked of the nations who would resist God.
At this point many of those of the nations of Israel shall be repentant and seeking deliverance from their Messiah.
The armies of Asia will mass outside Jerusalem during the seven last plagues time frame and will attack the false prophet and beast emperor who have moved into that city. The armies of Asia will take half of the city and then Messiah the Christ will come with his chosen to deliver the city Jerusalem.
Zechariah 14:1 Behold, the day of the Lord cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee.
The city will be taken by the armies of Europe and about half the Jewish population will be deported over 42 months before the armies of Asia gather to attack.
14:2 For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city.
14:3 Then shall the Lord go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.
Instructions to the people remaining in the city
14:5 And ye shall flee to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee.
14:6 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark: 14:7 But it shall be one day which shall be known to the Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light.
There will be a great earthquake dividing the Mount of Olives when it is touched by the feet of the glorified Christ, and that great earthquake will also open up the fountains of the deep to gush out pure waters [as a type of the pouring out of the Holy Spirit (Joel 2:28). from the Temple Mount where the new millennial temple will be built.
Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.
14:9 And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord [one ruler over all the earth and not many gods and leaders of a divided earth], and his name one.
The city of Jerusalem will be flattened out as a plain and raised up over the surrounding land as an elevated plateau or mesa.
14:10 All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place, from Benjamin’s gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king’s winepresses. 14:11 And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited.
The plague that destroys the unrepentant wicked who turn to fight Christ at his coming. They will simple dissolve in the presence of the Creator.
14:12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth. 14:13 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a great tumult from the Lord shall be among them; and they shall lay hold every one on the hand of his neighbour, and his hand shall rise up against the hand of his neighbour.
Then when Messiah comes and the armies of the wicked outside the city are destroyed by Christ in the valley of Hinnom; the men of Judah remaining in Jerusalem will rise up and fight the enemy which remains inside the city.
14:14 And Judah also shall fight at Jerusalem; and the wealth of all the heathen round about shall be gathered together, gold, and silver, and apparel, in great abundance.
The plague on the wicked who fight Christ will also fall on all their beasts
14:15 And so shall be the plague of the horse, of the mule, of the camel, and of the ass, and of all the beasts that shall be in these tents, as this plague.
Then the whole earth shall worship the Eternal and live by every Word of God including the seventh day Sabbath, the new Moons and God’s Festivals! Yes even today’s church of God leaders will be forced to keep God’s new Moons!
