Psalms 96 – 102

Psalm 96

A true New World Order will begin with the coming of Jesus Christ

Both physical and spiritual Israel will be delivered and the Word of God will be opened up to all nations and peoples.  God’s Spirit will be poured out on all flesh on a Feast of Pentecost (Joel 2:28), and all who call on the LORD will be saved.

Joel 2:32  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the Lord hath said, and in the remnant [all those who survive the tribulation will be called to God] whom the Lord shall call.

Psalm 96:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth. 96:2 Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation [We can receive salvation from bondage to sin through sincere repentance, the application of the sacrifice of Christ and then going forward to live by every Word of God.] from day to day.

96:3 Declare his glory among the heathen [the unconverted], his wonders among all people.

96:4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods. 96:5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens. 96:6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

All nations and peoples will be called to God the Father when Messiah the Christ comes.

96:7 Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 96:8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts. 96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth [over all the earth]: the world [the worldwide Kingdom of God] also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

96:11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof. 96:12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

96:13 Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge [rule, govern]  the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth [God’s Word is truth].

John 17:17  Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth

Psalm 97

The Kingdom of God will be established and on a future Feast of Shavuot or Pentecost the New Covenant will be extended to all humanity; and Messiah the Christ swill rule all nations as King of kings and Lord of all lords.

Psalm 97:1 The LORD reigneth; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.

At his coming the earth will tremble and when God’s Kingdom is established on the Feast of Pentecost, God’s Spirit will be poured out on all flesh (Joel 2:28) and all people will rejoice.

97:2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne. 97:3 A fire goeth before him, and burneth up his enemies round about. 97:4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled. 97:5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.

The glory of the Lord

97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Those who trust in their own ways and idols of wood and stone or idols of men, corporate churches and human traditions will be confounded and brought to humble contrition; and all people will worship the Eternal.

97:7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all ye gods.

All Israel will rejoice in Messiah the King, and all nations will be humbled before God.

97:8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of thy judgments, O LORD. 97:9 For thou, LORD [YHVH, both Messiah the Christ and God the Father], art high above all the earth: thou [YHVH, both Messiah the Christ and God the Father] art exalted far above all gods.

A good understanding and God’s ultimate deliverance is given to all those who hate and loathe all evil; and love, follow and live by every Word of God.

97:10 Ye that love the LORD, hate evil: he preserveth the souls of his saints; he delivereth them out of the hand of the wicked. 97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

True godly righteousness is living by every Word of God.

97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, ye righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

Psalm 98

A song for joy that Messiah has come and established the Kingdom of God as King of kings over all nations

First the God who gave up his godhood to be made flesh as Jesus Christ saved mankind, by being made flesh and giving his life for the sincerely repented sins of humanity;  soon he will save Israel and all humanity from destruction by coming with his resurrected chosen and destroying the destroyers of the earth.

When Christ comes in his power, all nations will see and quickly turn to the righteousness of living by every Word of God and a New World Order of righteousness will be born.

Psalm 98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

Messiah the Christ will teach the only way to salvation which is sincere repentance, the application of Christ’s sacrifice and then embracing the righteousness of living by every Word of God.

98:2 The LORD hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

After their correction all Israel will sincerely repent and God will pour out his mercy on them and then on all humanity to the ends of the earth.

98:3 He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

Let every mouth rejoice and every person sing, because repentance and eternal salvation is opened to all then living humanity;  and will be opened up to all who have ever lived in due time!

98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise. 98:5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm. 98:6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

Let every breath be employed in rejoicing over the salvation of the LORD, let the earth herself rejoice for the time of her decay is past and her desolate places will flourish!

98:7 Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 98:8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

May God speed the day!

98:9 Before the LORD; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

Psalm 99

Let every mouth rejoice for the God of Moses and Aaron is coming to reign over the earth from Jerusalem!

Let all flesh rejoice and praise God that Messiah comes and he shall reign over all the earth in godly justice as King of kings.  His mighty power will be employed to do justice, to teach all people to live by every Word of God and to extend eternal salvation to a sincerely repentant humanity.

Psalm 99:1 The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he sitteth between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.  99:2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people. 99:3 Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

99:4 The king’s [Messiah the King of kings] strength [will be employed to do justice] also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

99:5 Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool  [the earth is God’s footstool (Isaiah 66:1) and all the earth shall obey the Father and the Son]; for he is holy.

YHVH is the family name of God [Elohim], the Mighty Ones.

The Messiah the Christ is YHVH on whom Moses, Aaron and Samuel called, and they will serve God the Father [who is also YHVH] and Christ again in the resurrection.

99:6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

The YHVH who led Israel in the cloud and in the fire is the very Messiah the Christ who gave up his God-hood to become flesh as Jesus Christ and die in effectual sacrifice for the sincerely repented sins of humanity; he has been resurrected back to spirit and he will soon come to the earth to rule all nations as King of kings.

He is well deserving of being King over humanity because he gave up his God-hood to become flesh; sacrificing himself for the sins of humanity, and he was then resurrected and returned to his past glory.

99:7 He spake unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

The Being who became Jesus Christ corrects those who follow ways contrary to the Word of God, but he forgives the sincerely repentant.

99:8 Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship [exalt and obey] at his holy hill [the Temple; the place of God’s presence]; for the LORD our God is holy.

Psalm 100

A prophecy of the repentance of all nations and their worship of God at the Ezekiel Temple to be built by Messiah the Christ

Psalm 100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands [nations and peoples].100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

The eternal YHVH family has made us and is God alone and is to be exalted and obeyed forever. We are to follow NO other; we are to live by every Word of God the Father and Jesus Christ!

100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

100:4 Enter into his gates [His household, His family] with thanksgiving, and into his courts [presence] with praise: be thankful unto him [for creating us and for saving us to eternal life], and bless his name.

God is merciful to all those who turn to God in sincere repentance to STOP all sin and to live by every Word of God the Father.

100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Psalm 101

The people will sing for joy because Messiah the Christ will teach the truth and judgment of every Word of God the Father and pour out his mercy for the sincerely repentant

Psalm 101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto thee, O LORD, will I sing.

We are to commit ourselves to live by every Word of God the Father, just as Jesus Christ did and does.

101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way [the ways of the Word of God]. O when wilt thou come unto me? I will walk [live] within my house with a perfect [perfect in living by every Word of God the Father] heart.

Neither David nor Christ coveted to do evil contrary to the Word of God.  Yes David slipped occasionally but he also quickly repented; it is Jesus Christ who never slipped who is our example in godliness.

101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work [deeds] them that turn aside [turn away from God’s Word]; it [the godly will have no part in sin against the Word of God] shall not cleave to me.

101:4 A froward [stubborn, self-willed] heart shall depart from me: I will not know [be a friend of wickedness] a wicked person.

Telling the truth openly is not slander, telling lies is slander.

101:5 Whoso privily [secretly speaks lies] slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: [Jesus Christ will not tolerate those full of pride in their own ways] him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

101:6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful [to live by every Word of God] of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way [lives by every Word of God], he shall serve me [God the Father and Jesus Christ].

It is very common in today’s spiritual Ekklesia to take a small bit of truth out of its context and then spin it to mean the opposite of what it really meant in its complete context.  That is LYING and it is deception which Jesus Christ and God the Father HATE!

101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

When Christ comes he will destroy all unrepentant transgressors of the Word of God.

101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

Psalm 102

Correction of the flesh brings sorrow over sin unto sincere repentance, which brings deliverance to the spirit.

Psalm 102:1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto thee. 102:2 Hide not thy face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline thine ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily. 102:3 For my days are consumed [dissipate] like smoke, and my bones are burned as [in the fire] an hearth.

102:4 My heart is smitten [our pride must be broken to contrition], and withered like grass; so that I forget to eat my bread [We are to fast for sorrow and heaviness of spirit in sincere repentance over our sins.]102:5 By reason of the voice of my groaning my bones cleave to my skin.

Those separated from God by their sins are alone and wondering like a bird in the wilderness.

102:6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.  102:7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

Our enemies mock us because we are afflicted.

102:8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me. 102:9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.

God called us and lifted us up from bondage to sin, and God casts us back down and afflicts us when we turn away from him to sin against His Word.

102:10 Because of thine indignation and thy wrath: for thou hast lifted me up, and cast me down.

102:11 My days are like a shadow that declineth; and I am withered like grass.

David says that man is but flesh which is temporary and passing; while God and the Word of God are forever and forever.

102:12 But thou, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and thy remembrance unto all generations.

God will have mercy on the sincerely repentant who turn to live by every Word of God.

102:13 Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion [the Temple is a type of those people of God who seek to sincerely repent and live by every Word of God]: for the time [for the coming of Christ is at hand] to favour her [Jerusalem and the people of God], yea, the set time, is come.

The true servants of God love his presence among them; they will love Jerusalem because the Temple of God the Father will be there and Messiah the Christ will rule all nations from Jerusalem.

102:14 For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

When Christ comes all nations will sincerely repent to serve and live by every Word of God.

102:15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth thy glory.

When Christ comes as King of kings with his chosen, he will be glorified in all the earth.

102:16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

Then God will regard the prayers of the sincerely repentant who acknowledge that they are spiritually destitute and in need of God.

102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute [poor in the spirit of pride and self-will], and not despise their prayer.

When Christ comes in his glory the story will be told from generation to generation.

102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

Our Mighty One will hear the groaning of his afflicted and he will see their sincere repentance; and he will deliver them.

102:19 For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth; 102:20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

Messiah will teach the Word of God the Father to all people when he comes, and most will worship God and live by every Word of God.

102:21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem; 102:22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

For a short time we will be afflicted because of our sins, so that by afflicting the flesh the spirit might repent and be saved.

102:23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

In our affliction we will acknowledge the transitory and meaningless nature of the flesh and our own ways, then we will sincerely repent turning to the things that last forever.

102:24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: thy years are throughout all generations. 102:25 Of old hast thou laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of thy hands.

102:26 They shall perish, but thou shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shalt thou change them, and they shall be changed:

102:27 But thou art the same, and thy years shall have no end.

Every Word of God will last forever.

Human beings can also live forever if they are founded and  established on the Word of God.

102:28 The children of thy servants shall continue, and their seed shall be established before thee.
