God’s mercies and blessings on his faithful will be made known to all humanity when the dead are resurrected.
Psalm 67:1 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause his face to shine upon us; Selah.
The ways of God will be revealed to all peoples and they will seek to live by every Word of God which shall be their saving health.
67:2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
When the King of kings comes and rules all nations, all humanity will praise him for his justice in ruling all nations by the righteous Word of God.
67:3 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 67:4 O let the nations be glad and sing for joy: for thou shalt judge the people righteously, and govern the nations upon earth. Selah.
67:5 Let the people praise thee, O God; let all the people praise thee. 67:6 Then shall the earth yield her increase; and God, even our own God, shall bless us. 67:7 God shall bless us; and all the ends of the earth shall fear him.
A song of God’s deliverance for his faithful who live by every Word of God
When Messiah the Christ comes, the enemies of the righteous Word of God who will not repent will be destroyed.
Psalm 68:1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered: let them also that hate him flee before him. 68:2 As smoke [the wicked shall be cast away, like smoke is dissipated by the wind] is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melteth before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
When Christ comes the unrepentant wicked who compromise with any part of the Word of God will perish, but those who love and live by every Word of God shall be exceedingly glad.
68:3 But let the righteous [those who live by every Word of God] be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice. 68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rideth upon the heavens by his name JAH [the letter J was invented in the middle ages and this should properly be rendered YAH; YHWH], and rejoice before him.
68:5 [God is] A father of the fatherless, and a judge [a justice giver] of the widows, is God in [from] his holy habitation.
God brings the lonely into his family and delivers those in bondage to sin, but the unrepentant wicked will perish without the water of God’s Holy Spirit.
68:6 God setteth the solitary in families: he bringeth out those which are bound with chains: but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.
God called physical Israel out of Egypt and delivered them with mighty deeds; and God calls spiritual Israel out from bondage to sin and delivers them with mighty deeds.
68:7 O God, when thou wentest forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah: 68:8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
God blessed the faithful of physical Israel with rain in a dry land; which is a type of the rain of the Holy Spirit upon the spiritually faithful.
Physical Israel was given the physical promised land as an inheritance from God, and spiritual Israel will be given the Promised Land of eternal life as their heritage from God.
68:9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. 68:10 Thy congregation hath dwelt therein [in the promised land]: thou, O God, hast prepared of thy goodness for the poor [those poor in the spirit of pride and stubborn self-will Mat 5:3].
Ultimately every Word of God will be published to all people in the whole earth, and all humanity will live by every Word of God.
68:11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.
When Christ comes, the kings of the earth will submit to him, giving up their kingdoms to God’s chosen ones.
68:12 Kings of armies did flee apace: and she that tarried at home [physical and spiritual Israel] divided the spoil.
Those who live by every Word of God, even though they are common and humble in this physical life, will be exalted in the resurrection to eternal life and they will receive offices of kings and priests over the earth under the coming King of kings.
Revelation 5:10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
Psalm 68:13 Though ye have lien among the pots [though we may have been of humble station in this life] , yet shall ye be [exalted in the resurrection of the godly] as the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her feathers with yellow gold. 68:14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, it was white as snow in Salmon.
The temple mount [and the government of God which it symbolizes] will be exalted above all the mountains [governments] of the earth.
68:15 The hill [government] of God is as the hill of Bashan [fruitful prosperous Golan]; an high hill as the hill [heights of Golan] of Bashan.
God has chosen Jerusalem and his Holy Hill the Temple Mount, to be ultimately replaced by the New Jerusalem (Revelation 21); to dwell in that place forever.
68:16 Why leap ye, ye high hills? this is the hill which God desireth to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever. 68:17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
The Lamb of God sacrificed for the repented sins of the world; was resurrected to eternal life and lifted up on high.
68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity [Messiah conquered death and was exalted] captive: thou hast received gifts [Messiah has received the gifts of forgiveness and reconciliation with God and the gift of the Holy Spirit; from God the Father; to give to to humanity John 16:7.] for men; yea, for the rebellious [while we were still sinners God gave his son to be sacrificed for us, so that the rebellious could sincerely repent and be reconciled to God] also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.
Blessed be the LORD God who was made flesh and gave himself for his creation, so that mankind could be reconciled to God the Father and delivered from bondage to Satan, sin and death.
68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
God alone will judge between the righteous to eternal life, and the unrepentant wicked to eternal death.
68:20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.
The sincerely repentant who go on to sin no more, shall be saved; but the unrepentant wicked will be grievously corrected to humble them in the hope that they might sincerely repent and be saved.
68:21 But God shall wound the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such an one as goeth on still in his trespasses.
God will deliver his physical people from all the places where they have been scattered, and he will deliver his faithful spiritual people to everlasting life.
68:22 The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea: 68:23 That thy foot may be dipped in the blood of thine enemies, and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.
The whole earth will see and know the mighty deeds of God to save humanity from bondage to Satan, sin and death, and the vast majority of mankind will sincerely repent, rejoicing in God.
68:24 They have seen thy goings [deeds], O God; even the goings [deeds] of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.
The tribes [nations] of Israel will all gather before God at the new Ezekiel Temple in Jerusalem to praise and worship God learning godliness.
68:25 The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; among them were the damsels playing with timbrels. 68:26 Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, from the fountain of Israel. 68:27 There is little Benjamin with their ruler, the princes of Judah and their council, the princes of Zebulun, and the princes of Naphtali.
The coming Messiah the Christ will save and strengthen the tribes of physical Israel, and will go on to deliver all humanity from bondage to Satan, sin and death.
68:28 Thy God hath commanded thy strength: strengthen, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.
All nations shall come up to worship God at the Ezekiel Temple in Jerusalem.
68:29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.
The coming Christ will rebuke and scatter all those who delight in violence and rebellion against God, until the whole earth submits to God and lives by every Word of God.
68:30 Rebuke the company of spearmen, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the people, till every one submit himself with pieces of silver: scatter thou the people that delight in war.
Egypt and Ethiopia [together a type of all Africa] will turn to worship God and they will live by every Word of God.
68:31 Princes shall come out of Egypt [to worship God at the Ezekiel Temple]; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God. 68:32 Sing unto God, ye kingdoms [nations and peoples] of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord; Selah:
Messiah the Christ will come with his resurrected chosen ones to rule all nations, in the righteousness of every Word of God.
68:33 To him that rideth upon the heavens of heavens, which were of old; lo, he doth send out his voice, and that a mighty voice. 68:34 Ascribe ye strength unto God: his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds. 68:35 O God, thou art terrible [awesome] out of thy holy places: the God of Israel is he that giveth strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
