The LORD and every Word of God is the light of righteousness, casting out the darkness of wickedness.
Psalm 27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
Those who walk in the light of living by every Word of God need never fear, for whatever happens in this life they have a sure place in the resurrection to spirit and eternal life with God.
27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 27:3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
The unrepentant wicked will ultimately fall into eternal death, while those who love truth and living by the Word of God shall live for eternity. The godly go down to the grave with the unshakable promise of the resurrection to spirit and eternal life with God.
27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life [forever], to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire [into the Word of God] in his temple.
The heart of the faithful is dedicated to live by the Word of God, FOREVER
27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
When the godly die, they are preserved in the secret place of God, resting on the sure foundation of the Rock of Salvation
27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
In the resurrection of God’s chosen called out first fruits, God’s faithful shall be raised from the grave and exalted as kings and priests of the order of Melchizedek to rule the nations (Rev 1:6 and 5:10).
27:7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 27:8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.
27:9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. 27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
What an incredible comfort to really KNOW that when the faithful who love God enough to live by his Word cry out to God: He will deliver them!
The love of God transcends the love of parents for their children or the love of a bride and bridegroom; and even when our fathers and mothers forsake us, Almighty God our Father in heaven loves his faithful and will remember and deliver us from death and the grave, and all evil!
27:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. 27:12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me [including those who witness falsely about God’s Word to deceive us to fall away from our Beloved LORD], and such as breathe out cruelty.
Let us learn the ways of righteousness and salvation; which is to live by every Word of God. Pray diligently that God will give a good understanding and make the Word of God plain and easy to understand and save us from all deceivers!
27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
Remember that we would all surely faint, fall and fail, but for the mercy of our Great Deliverer, who in his merciful love strengthens us to do his will and live by his Word
27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Be patient, faithful and diligent to live by every Word of God and he will deliver us in the resurrection to eternal life
A prayer for deliverance to the ONLY Deliverer who can deliver from all enemies including death itself.
Psalm 28:1 Unto thee will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit [the grave]. 28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.
28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace [deceitfully to gain advantage] to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts. 28:4 Give them [the unrepentant wicked] according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
God will correct all those who reject living by every Word of God, and if they still adamantly refuse to repent they will be cast into eternal death
28:5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
Praises to Almighty God; the Deliverer of all those who faithfully live by every Word of God.
28:6 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.
The Eternal is the strength of all those who put their trust in him to live by his Word.
28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
28:8 The LORD is their [the strength of the faithful] strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed [the ones filled with the Spirit of God].
Messiah the Christ will come to save his creation and deliver them from bondage to Satan and sin, and in their appointed times he will resurrect and change to eternal spirit all those who turn to live by every Word of God
28:9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
The faithful are mighty to overcome by the power of the Just and Mighty Deliverer, therefore let us rejoice and praise God, the Just and Holy!
Psalm 29:1 Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength. 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
When Messiah the Christ comes, the voice of righteousness will ring forth through the whole earth and all nations shall flow to God.
Psalm 29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters [nations, peoples]: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters [will rule many peoples].
The earth and heavens tremble at the voice [Word] of God, who is mighty to destroy the wicked and to deliver God’s faithful who live by every Word of God
29:4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty. 29:5 The voice of the LORD breaketh the cedars [the strong and mighty men]; yea, the LORD breaketh the cedars [figurative of mighty men] of Lebanon.
29:6 He maketh them [the great nations] also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion [an ancient name for Mt Hermon] like a young unicorn [properly, a strong young ox].
29:7 The voice of the LORD divideth [saves the godly and separates the wicked unto Gehenna] the flames of fire.
29:8 The voice of the LORD shaketh the wilderness [a figurative type of the ungodly]; the LORD shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh.
The voice [Word] of God created and sustains all things, and his faithful glorify and obey him
29:9 The voice of the LORD maketh the hinds [God created animals and enabled them to reproduce] to calve, and discovereth [God created the forests] the forests: and in his temple [spiritually God’s faithful (the spiritual Temple) glorify God] doth every one speak of his glory.
Messiah the King of kings shall rule all nations
29:10 The LORD sitteth upon the flood [Messiah will rule many nations]; yea, the LORD sitteth King for ever.
29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his [the faithful who live by every Word of God] people; the LORD will bless his people [in the resurrection to spirit with eternal life and peace] with peace.
Praises for God’s deliverance
Psalm 30:1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me. 30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
God spiritually heals his faithful from bondage to sin and from the wages of sin, which is death
30:3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit [grave].
The faithful who live by every Word of God, will be raised up from death and the grave to eternal life
30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness. 30:5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Let us rejoice for the correction of the LORD is momentary and is for our good so that he might save us to eternal life
30:6 And in my prosperity [blessings of godliness] I said, I shall never be moved [away from godliness]. 30:7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain [house, family or kingdom, government] to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
God’s eternal blessings come to those who will not be moved from living by every Word of God
30:8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
Let us quickly sincerely repent and seek the mercy of the LORD with dedicated single mindedness whenever we fall astray, and quickly turn back to live by every Word of God.
30:9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit [grave]? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
What does it profit us if we cleave to past sins, errors and false traditions and reject knowledge of the Word of God for our own ways?
Far better to be humbled and sincerely repent, crying out to the Mighty One to deliver us and mercifully forgive us, for we can do nothing in the grave.
Holy Father, Mighty One; give us a repentant heart and be merciful with us; write your Word and Law upon our hearts
30:11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness; 30:12 To the end that my glory [in God’s forgiveness and his deliverance in the resurrection] may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
