God our Creator and Deliverer; is worthy of praise forever more
While the afternoon “Hour of Prayer” began the preparations for the evening sacrifice and the evening sacrifice was killed and prepared before the sun set, it was not offered [burned on the altar] until sunset.
Psalm 134:1 Behold, bless [Serve, Obey and Glorify] ye the LORD [YHVH], all ye servants of the LORD, which by night [offering the evening sacrifice immediately after sunset] stand in the house of the LORD [offering the evening sacrifice immediately after sunset]. 134:2 Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the LORD.
God will bless all those that faithfully serve him and live by every Word of God.
134:3 The LORD that made heaven and earth bless thee [God will bless all his faithful who live by every Word of God to Serve, Please, Praise and Glorify HIM with the works of faith!] out of Zion.
Psalm 135:1 Praise ye the LORD [YHVH]. Praise ye the name [praise the reputation and glory of God, which is what God’s name represents] of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.
The physical Temple is an allegory of all those who are the spiritual house of God’s indwelling Spirit. All of God’s people will praise him and rejoice over all the mighty works of God in delivering us from bondage to Satan, sin and death.
135:2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God. 135:3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.
135:4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob [God chose and called physical Israel out of Egypt, as a type of God also calling a New Covenant spiritual Israel out from bondage to sin.] unto himself, and [Physical Israel as a type of a spiritual Israel (Jer 31:31) into which all nations will ultimately be grafted.] Israel for his peculiar treasure.
God is Great in his Mercy and Power to deliver, and he will save spiritual Israel from bondage to Satan and sin [and death itself] with the might of his power, just as he saved physical Israel from bondage in Egypt.
135:5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.
God the Creator designed and made all things and sustains them by His glorious power. The LORD [YHVH] is glorious and mighty, having the power to do whatever he wills, and he wills deliverance and abundant mercy for sincerely repentant humanity.
135:6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places. 135:7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.
The God of Mighty Wonders who delivered physical Israel from Egypt in His mercy, will ultimately deliver all humanity by bringing them to sincere repentance and grafting them into a New Covenant spiritual Israel (Jer 31:31). Even the ancient dead will be resurrected and given an opportunity for salvation (Ezekiel 37).
135:8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast. 135:9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants. 135:10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings; 135:11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan: 135:12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.
135:13 Thy name [A name represents a person and his reputation.], O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.
In due time God will deliver His people from wickedness, sin and bondage to Satan, sin and death; and God will destroy every false god and every false way out of the earth.
135:14 For the LORD will judge [Messiah the Christ will come to rule the people as King of all kings over all the earth.] his people, and he will repent himself [The correction of God’s people will come to an end.] concerning his servants.
135:15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men’s hands. 135:16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; 135:17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.
Idols can be more than just images; anything the comes between a person and faithfully zealously living by every Word of God is an idol.
The makers of false gods are just as ignorant as the false gods they make.
135:18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.
The day will come when all Israel will turn to zealously live by every Word of God and will bless the LORD, entering into a New Covenant which will deliver them from bondage to Satan, sin and death.
The physical house of Israel is an allegory of a spiritual New Covenant Israel, into which all nations will ultimately be grafted. The LORD [YHVH] will come as King of kings and will dwell in Jerusalem.
135:19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron: 135:20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD. 135:21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem.
Praise ye the LORD.
A Passover Psalm of Deliverance; written by David

Psalm 136 is a psalm of praise to God for his great love and mercy in delivering his physically Called Out from physical bondage in Egypt; and for delivering his spiritually Called Out from bondage to Satan, sin and death; by giving his own life as the Lamb of God.

God has called men from bondage to Satan, sin and death, and he will deliver his faithful from the grave typified by Israel rising out of the Red Sea.
136:13 To him which divided the Red sea into parts [A type of God’s ultimate opening of the graves to resurrect the faithful.]: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:14 And made Israel to pass through the midst of it: for his mercy endureth for ever:
Those who live by every Word of God will rise up to eternal life, changed to spirit. The unrepentant wicked will be destroyed by fire like pharaoh and his army was destroyed in the sea.
136:15 But overthrew Pharaoh and his host in the Red sea [The wicked will be destroyed but those faithful to their baptismal commitment to faithfully keep the whole Word of God will be resurrected to life eternal.]: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:16 To him which led his people through the wilderness [God leads those who follow him, guiding them through the spiritual wilderness of this wicked world.]: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:17 To him which smote great kings: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:18 And slew famous kings [God will destroy all unrepentant sinners] for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:19 Sihon king of the Amorites: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:20 And Og the king of Bashan [these Canaanite kings were used as types of unrepentant sinners]: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:21 And gave their land for an heritage [The wicked will be destroyed from off the earth; and ultimately the entire universe will be given to the faithful to rule under God the Father and Jesus Christ.]: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:22 Even an heritage unto Israel his servant: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:23 Who remembered us in our low estate [God will remember us in our bondage to death and he will deliver us in a resurrection from the grave.]: for his mercy endureth for ever:
136:24 And hath redeemed us from our enemies [Spiritually, Satan the Adversary of God, sin and death are our real enemies.]: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:25 Who giveth food to all flesh [In addition to physical food, God feeds his faithful with the spiritual food of the Word of God.]: for his mercy endureth for ever.
136:26 O give thanks unto the God of heaven: for his mercy endureth for ever.
