Psalms 11 – 15

Psalm 11

The godly righteous will put their trust in the Eternal and they will live by every Word of God.

Psalm 11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain [hiding place]?

Wicked men are ever keen to attack those who are zealous to live by every Word of God, yet the godly need not fear the wicked because their trust is in the LORD.

11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

11:3 If the foundations [the foundation of righteousness which can never be destroyed is trust in the Word of God] be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

The godly put their trust in the LORD to live by every Word of God the Almighty.

11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD’s throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try [God sees the deeds of men], the children of men.

11:5 The LORD trieth [tests and builds up] the righteous: but the wicked [God despises those who exalt themselves above God’s Word] and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

The wicked are those who break and teach others to compromise with God’s Word and tolerate sin.

The wicked will reap strong correction.

11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

Those who live by EVERY WORD of God will receive a blessing.

11:7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

Psalm 12

The godly person is perishing from today’s spiritual Ekklesia; wickedness, deception, idolatry and abominations are overspreading the nations and the brotherhood, just as they did in the days of Noah.

Psalm 12:1 Help, LORD; for the godly man ceaseth; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.  12:2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.

Today most of the leaders and  elders of the Ekklesia speak vanity, deceitfully teaching the brethren the lie that God will overlook and tolerate sin, and that the brethren must be zealous to obey idols of men instead of living by every Word of God.

The Eternal will reject all such deceivers into the strong correction of great tribulation.

12:3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaketh proud things: 12:4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us? 12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, saith the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffethat him.

God will deliver his people from the great swelling words of foolish vanity, conceived by wicked, vain and arrogant men.

12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried [refined and purified] in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.

The Eternal will preserve all those who live by every Word of God.

12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Most brethren in today’s spiritual Ekklesia have exalted men of apparent talent and charm, many of who are secret deceivers striving to exalt themselves over God’s household and make merchandise of God’s flock.

12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

Be careful who you follow.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Psalm 13

David wrote in this prophecy for our time and we should also ask:  How long, oh LORD, will this situation of the exaltation of the wicked continue in today’s spiritual Ekklesia?

Psalm 13:1 How long wilt thou forget me, O LORD? for ever? how long wilt thou hide thy face from me? 13:2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?

13:3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes [May God quickly deliver his people from the wicked deceivers in the congregations and open our eyes to the light of God’s Word, lest we spiritually perish.]  lest I sleep the sleep of death;

Oh, LORD our LORD; open the eyes of the brethren to a passionate Christ-like zeal to live by every Word of God; lest Satan prevail through his wicked deceivers subtly planted in the congregations.

13:4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

Let us very quickly and sincerely repent and place our trust in the mercy of our Mighty One; then we shall greatly rejoice and shout aloud for joy at his deliverance at our resurrection to spirit and eternal life!

13:5 But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. 13:6 I will sing unto the LORD, because he hath dealt bountifully with me.

Psalm 14

Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

The foolish of the world say there is no God and the foolish in today’s spiritual Ekklesia foolishly say that “there is a God but I am the master in his house” [God is Master in his own House].

Instead of teaching zeal to live by every Word of God; the wicked elders and leaders in the Ekklesia condemn the zealous for God, and exalt themselves as idols above the House of God.

Today’s spiritual Ekklesia is sound asleep and all have gone astray except the few that the Eternal has aroused.

14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. 14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Most of the leaders and elders in today’s Ekklesia work iniquity, deceiving the brethren away from any zeal to live by every Word of God and exalting themselves as idols of men over the heritage of the LORD.

14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

The godly will fear [have a high respect for] the Eternal and will love God enough to live by every Word of God.

14:5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous. 14:6 Ye have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.

The wicked have hated the zealous for God whose refuge is the LORD; and because they want followers after themselves the wicked deceivers have hated the example of the zealous who live by every Word of God, casting them out of the congregations lest their zeal for God spread throughout the Assembly and the people be turned away from idolizing men, turning back to God.

Oh how the zealous long for the coming of the salvation of the Lord when he comes to deliver those who are zealous to live by every Word of God!

14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD bringeth back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

Psalm 15

What kind of person will the Eternal respect and deliver?

Psalm 15:1 Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? 15:2 He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart.

The person who refrains from any sin and lives by every Word of God will have a heart full of the truth (God is truth); and will be in the resurrection of the first fruits and shall be a part of the government of God on the earth.

15:3 He that backbiteth not with his tongue, nor doeth evil to his neighbour, nor taketh up a reproach against his neighbour.

Backbiting means to speak evil of others in their absence, so that they cannot defend themselves from the verbal attack and slander.

Slanderers who bear deliberate false witness, shall NOT be in the resurrection to spirit.

15:4 In whose eyes [the godly would never justify the wicked (Pro 17:15)] a vile person is contemned; but he [God and the godly] honoureth them that fear [respect and obey] the Lord. He [the man that] that sweareth to his own hurt, and changeth not [the godly will keep his word even to his own cost]. 15:5 He that putteth not out his money to usury, nor taketh reward [advantage] against the innocent. He that doeth these things shall never be moved.

Proverbs 17:15 He that justifieth the wicked, and he that condemneth the just, even they both are abomination to the Lord.
