James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.
If we compromise with even one point of God’s Word we have broken the [whole] law.
ALL have sinned and ALL need to sincerely repent and turn to an intensive effort to internalize the nature of God through diligent study, continual prayerful meditation and whole hearted obedience to every Word of God.
Any person who teaches that Christ will overlook any willful disobedience or compromise with God’s Word is an ignorant false teacher.
Luke 13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose ye that these Galilaeans were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things? 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent [STOP sinning], ye shall all likewise perish. 13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them, think ye that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem? 13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.
We will all die physically, however if we are sincerely repentant and doing our level best to learn, grow and overcome, to “Go and sin no more;” we have the hope of the resurrection to spirit and eternal life. Those who refuse to sincerely repent and go forward to sin no more, will be destroyed for eternity.
The Father is the husbandman (John 15) and he will be patient with the sincerely repentant who are diligently working to live by every Word of God among his called out; and he shall judge, reject and correct all willful sinners.
13:6 He spake also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none. 13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground? 13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till I shall dig about it, and dung it: 13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that thou shalt cut it down.
God is patient with us, but if we continue in our sins, idolatry and false traditions, we will be corrected.
Healing on the Sabbath
13:10 And he was teaching in one of the synagogues on the sabbath.
13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity eighteen years, and was bowed [had a bent back] together, and could in no wise lift up herself. 13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. 13:13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight, and glorified God.
13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue [the presiding elder] answered with indignation, because that Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not on the sabbath day.
Consider this: being a true daughter of Abraham she was a faithful person and yet was still afflicted. She was loosed on the Sabbath day, which is a picture of the Kingdom when all humanity will be loosed and delivered from Satan by Jesus Christ!
Jesus’ healing on the Sabbath was much more than teaching the law of mercy, it was a prophetic allegory of the deliverance from physical and spiritual afflictions in and after the Millennial Kingdom of God!
13:15 The Lord then answered him [rebuking the head pastor], and said, Thou hypocrite, doth not each one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him away to watering? 13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan hath bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
In the coming Kingdom, most of the human adversaries of God the Father and Jesus Christ will be ashamed and will repent, and God’s Spirit will be poured out on all peoples (Joel 2:28).
13:17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
The Kingdom is like a very small seed which grows and grows until it fills the whole earth.
Luke 13:18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and whereunto shall I resemble it? 13:19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged in the branches of it. 13:20 And again he said, Whereunto shall I liken the kingdom of God? 13:21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, till the whole was leavened.
When the Kingdom of God is established it will grow to fill the entire universe!
13:22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying toward Jerusalem.
Very few of today’s called out will overcome and be saved now, instead many will lose out on the first resurrection and will become part of the latter main harvest.
To be chosen we MUST be totally faithful in all things, and stand firm against all temptations, pressures, deceptions and persecutions. Being part of a group claiming to be God’s people means absolutely nothing; if we are not unwaveringly dedicated to live by every Word of God.
Being baptized is absolutely nothing, UNLESS we KEEP our baptismal commitment to love, obey and work incessantly to PLEASE God our Father in heaven in ALL THINGS.
Absolute dedication to living by every Word of God and hungrily internalizing the very nature of God through intensive study and the KEEPING of the Father’s will is the difficult and only way through the Gate of Salvation.
This kind of overcoming can only be done by an unending prayerful attitude and meditation on God’s Word day and night, the seeking of a full understanding from God the Father and seeking with all our hearts to receive a full measure of God’s Spirit, which is given to the obedient who follow the lead of God’s Spirit to KEEP all the things of God.
Acts 5:32 And we are his witnesses of these things; and so is also the Holy Ghost, whom God hath given to them that obey him.
Luke 13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said unto them, 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
Just as God closed the door to the ark of Noah and those outside began to pound on the door and loudly beg to be let in; even so, many who are now called and who have become lax and disobedient, falling away and preferring their own ways and traditions above the Word of God, will be left on the ground looking up at the resurrected chosen
Do not let the deceivers and idolaters of false traditions deceive you and steal your crown!
The law of God IS love; and anyone who teaches to compromise or tolerate sin in the name of love is an IGNORANT DECEIVER.
Yes, conversion is a process of growing! Yes, we can make mistakes and we may sometimes slip; but we are NOT to justify our errors! We are to sincerely repent, and with God’s help redouble our efforts to overcome!
Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 7:25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
Those who internalize the nature of God the Father and Jesus Christ; who become one with them in total spiritual unity through a deep love for God and all the things of God, those who love living passionately by every Word of God and set a good example of godliness and FEED THE FLOCK with the good pasture of the Word, watering them with the Spirit of Godliness, are building on the foundation of the Word of God: Which shall NEVER be moved.
Ephesians 2:20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
Matthew 7:26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 7:27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.
The words of Christ are not taught today, because they are NOT KEPT! It is because the Word of God exposes the many false shepherds among us!
These things are not taught because the Word of God cuts sharply into the very heart and spirit of our organizations and convicts us of our sins and egocentric complacency and our lack of Christ centeredness; exposing our almost total lack of Christ-like zeal for God the Father’s will and Word!
Jesus Christ stands at the door of each of those called to the Father through him, knocking (Rev 3) and calling us to repent of our self-righteous idolizing of our own ways; calling us to a diligent dedicated passionate obedience to every Word of God; calling us to sincerely repent of our embracing of worldliness.
The wolves pretend to feed the flock; the better to ravish it
It is only by studying the Holy Scriptures and living by them that we begin to learn to discern between the holy and the profane, between the wolves and the true shepherds and sheep; for truly the wolves do disguise themselves diligently and can only be discerned through a proving of all things by the scriptures.
Luke 13:25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye [those who have justified their sin] begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 13:26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
Very, very, many of today’s church leaders, elders and brethren, will be shut out of the first resurrection to spirit; unless they repent of idolizing men and corporations above the Word of God.
13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.
Many from all over the earth will enter the Kingdom of God through their unwavering, faithful, wholehearted zeal for all the things of God; while many spiritually lax brethren will not be among the chosen.
Many who have served only a few years will be first because of their zeal and spiritual growth; while many who had little or no zeal and did nothing with their talent will be last [if they make it at all].
For it is the zealous for the ways and will of God, who continually grow and steadfastly reject and abhor all sin in passionate love for their Lord; who will be first in the Kingdom of God!
13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.
Those who appear to be first [great people] in this life, could well be last in the life to come, because they are full of impressive zeal to follow idols of men and false traditions of men, and yet they lack any zeal to learn and keep the whole Word of God.
Some of the Pharisees then warned Jesus that Herod sought to kill him.
13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him, Get thee out, and depart hence: for Herod will kill thee.
13:32 And he said unto them, Go ye, and tell that fox, Behold, I cast out devils, and I do cures to day and to morrow, and the third day I shall be perfected. 13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet [Christ would not fail to complete his 3 1/2 year mission] perish out of Jerusalem.
Jesus sent them back to Herod saying that on the third day, that is after the third year of his ministry, and not before; he would be perfected [complete his mission and die for his creation].
13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! 13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate . . .
Physical Israel would and has become a widow after the death of her Husband, (Is 54:4).
When Christ returns to Jerusalem, the city and the nations will be repentant and will welcome him once again and in far greater glory then when he entered the city in triumph the first time.
When Christ returns with his saints, the city will rejoice in her Deliverer and welcome him in wholehearted repentance with Great Rejoicing. Shouting blessed be our Deliverer, who delivers us in the authority of the Eternal!!! Blessed is he who comes from the Father in heaven to deliver us!!!
They will recognize and accept their saviour with Great Joy!!!
Luke 13:35 . . . and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
This issue of healing on the Sabbath is a very important allegory of the ultimate spiritual healing of all humanity.
Luke 14:1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him. 14:2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy. 14:3 And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day? 14:4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;
Jesus then challenged them to answer him about mercy and the Sabbath.
14:5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day? 14:6 And they could not answer him again to these things.
Jesus teaches humility and discretion
14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden [to the meal], when he marked [saw them] how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them. 14:8 When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding [Speaking to those called to the marriage of the Lamb; do not exalt yourselves but be humble and let God exalt whoever HE chooses. The way to be exalted is not to exalt one’s self with expansive claims, but to be zealous to exalt the Eternal God.], sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; 14:9 And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.
This lesson rebukes self-exalting and the evil of many who falsely claim to be apostles and prophets to gather personal followings.
14:10 But when thou art bidden go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.
14:11 For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.
God the Father calls the poor in spirit [humble and teachable] and exalts those who live by every Word of God. Those who in their pride exalt themselves; God will abase.
God calls the humble who will listen to Him, not the proud who want to live by their own ways and will NOT live by every Word of God. It is the lowly in self-esteem, the humble and contrite before God, who listen to God and are faithful to him; that Almighty God will exalt in his own good time.
14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee. 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind: 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just. 14:15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
Jesus further explains his teaching, giving a parable of God the Father calling the great and wise to the wedding feast; and none would come to God because they were proud and addicted to their own ways.
14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
Many people use every possible excuse to avoid any zeal to live by every Word of God the Father; but in the end only the poor in the spirit of pride, who are humble and teachable, will be chosen as a part of the bride of the Son.
14:21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.
Then God the Father commanded that more be called to be a part of the collective bride just before the resurrection and Wedding Feast, because many will be humbled during the end time tribulation,.
14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
NONE of those who were called out to be a part of the collective bride and refused to respond with sincere repentance and zeal to live by every Word of God, will be resurrected and have a part in the marriage of the Lamb of God.
Those like today’s Ekklesia, who think of themselves as righteous and great in godliness, while they are full of following idols of men contrary to the Word of God, will not be changed to spirit in the first resurrection to spirit.
Rather, it is the wicked that sincerely repent and commit to “Go and sin no more” and then turn to live by every Word of God; who shall be changed into spirit!
14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden [to be a part of the bride and keep God’s Word, and then excused themselves from living by every Word of God to be about their own business] shall taste of my supper [Marriage Feast of the Lamb].
We are to focus on loving and obeying God the Father much more than we love anything or anyone else: Even our love for our own families should not come between us and our God.
14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them, 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not [Meaning that the faithful godly will love God, more than ANYTHING else; even their corporate church or personal family.] his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.
Anyone who will not live by EVERY WORD of GOD; is NOT a true follower of Jesus Christ, and WILL be REJECTED by Almighty God!
With Christ there is NO HALF WAY!
It is either: ALL THE WAY, or NO WAY!
14:27 And whosoever doth not bear his cross [bear the cost], and come after me [follow Christ’s example of zeal for God], cannot be my disciple.
Count the cost before you make a baptismal commitment; because the price is your life! We are to glorify God through living by every Word of God.
1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? 6:20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
Luke 14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? 14:29 Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, 14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? 14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.
The price of eternal life, is to forsake ALL for God our Father in heaven!
14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath [those who will not forsake their own ways to live by every Word of God], he cannot be my disciple.
The ZEAL, OBEDIENCE and FAITH of the called out, is the salt that makes us acceptable to God the Father and Jesus Christ. If we lose our savor and we are no longer acceptable to God; then what will God do with us?
Most assuredly, if we have no Christ-like ZEAL to live by every Word of God the Father; we shall be rejected and cast out!
14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned? 14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out. He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.
If any of the called out loose their zeal to live by every Word of God, and instead follow idols of men and refuse to sincerely repent of the false traditions men; they have lost their savor to God, and will be cast out (Rev 3:14-22).
