Ezekiel 6 – 7

Ezekiel 6

This is an extremely strong prophecy about what is coming on the latter day physical and spiritual Israel for our wickedness.

Ezekiel 6 – 7 reveal what God plans to do to physical and spiritual Israel and Judah.  God will bring a sword [violence] to destroy our idols; that means that the corporate church organizations and many leaders will be destroyed because they have exalted themselves above God and His Word to become our idols.

In prophecy the word “mountain” refers to a national government or to the leadership of a group of the Ekklesia, and a “hill” refers to local governments and to leaders [such as elders] of the local assemblies of the Ekklesia

Ezekiel 6:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 6:2 Son of man, set thy face toward the mountains [governments] of Israel, and prophesy against them, 6:3 And say, Ye mountains [governments] of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus saith the Lord GOD to the mountains [national governments], and to the hills [lesser governments], to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

Many in today’s physical and spiritual  Israel will die and our false idols and false religions and the spiritual organizations that we idolize will be destroyed along with our high places [places of worship  and corporate entities].

Some will die in their idolatry and some will repent in the tribulation, and even the sincerely repentant will have to prove their repentance by dying for the faith.

6:4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols. 6:5 And I will lay the dead carcases of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

The cities will be laid waste and the false religions destroyed, including the false teachings of today’s corporate Ekklesia groups.

6:6 In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

All false religions and false teachings will be destroyed so that BOTH physical and spiritual Israel will KNOW that the Eternal is God, above ALL organizations and men.

Yes, those who follow any man blindly in idolatry, and who do not prove all things to hold fast and follow the Word of God, will fall into the correction of great tribulation so that they may learn that the Eternal is God and beside Him there is no other!

Deuteronomy 4:35 Unto thee it was shewed, that thou mightest know that the Lord he is God; there is none else beside him.

Ezekiel 6:7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and ye shall know that I am the LORD [YHVH].

A remnant will survive and they shall turn to God after their correction in tribulation, and they will then KNOW that the Eternal is God indeed.  The great tribulation will come upon us to humble us and to teach us not to exalt any man above the Word of God!

6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that ye may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when ye shall be scattered through the countries.

6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations whither they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with [God will cast out his physical and spiritual people because of all our sins] their whorish heart, which hath departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall lothe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

This terrible correction of afflicting the flesh is for the purpose of humbling and bringing us to sincere repentance, so that the spirit may be saved.

The great tribulation is a very hard spanking for our rebellious wickedness in exalting our idols of men above the Word of God in an effort to save us from eternal spiritual death.

God’s correction SHALL SUCEED, and the Called Out of this latter day will surely sincerely repent and be saved!

God’s correction will not be in vain, for in our affliction the Called Out will learn and  KNOW that the Eternal is God, and we will turn from our idols of men and corporate entities

6:10 And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

Then the called out will smite themselves on their chests in bitter repentance, for all the evil which shall befall us because of our many sins.

6:11 Thus saith the Lord GOD; Smite with thine hand, and stamp with thy foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence. 6:12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remaineth and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

When the idols of false religions throughout physical and spiritual Israel and Judah are destroyed, and the grand buildings of their high places of worship are in heaps; when they suffer in famine and their slain are many; the remnant will turn to the Eternal in sincere repentance!

6:13 Then shall ye know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

Jesus Christ is going to correct his wayward spiritually called out Ekklesia along with physical Israel, because of our many idol’s and rebellions against His Word.

6:14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel 7

The judgment of the end time tribulation

Ezekiel 7:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 7:2 Also, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end is come upon the four corners [the whole land] of the land.

Physical and spiritual Israel will be judged and corrected for our many abominations.  The called out of spiritual Israel are just as wicked in the spiritual context as physical Israel is wicked in the physical sense.  Physical Israel follows the idols of false religion, and the Ekklesia follow idols of men and false teachings as well!

7:3 Now is the end come upon thee, and I will send mine anger upon thee, and will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense upon thee all thine abominations. 7:4 And mine eye shall not spare thee, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense thy ways upon thee, and thine abominations shall be in the midst of thee: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

God is about to bring an end to our evil deeds

7:5 Thus saith the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, is come. 7:6 An end is come, the end is come: it watcheth for thee; behold, it is come.

The pride of physical and spiritual Israel has reached to high heaven in its ugliness and perversity and the time of our great correction is at hand!

Almighty God is about to reject physical Israel AND the wayward Ekklesia (Rev 3:15) into the correction of great tribulation, because of our arrogant pride in exalting our own ways above the Word of God.

The day of trouble of the great tribulation is at hand!  Quickly turn to God, oh spiritual and physical Israel!

7:7 The morning is come unto thee, O thou that dwellest in the land: the time is come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains. 7:8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon thee, and accomplish mine anger upon thee: and I will judge thee according to thy ways, and will recompense thee for all thine abominations.

7:9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense thee according to thy ways and thine abominations that are in the midst of thee; and ye shall know that I am the LORD that smiteth.

7:10 Behold the day, behold, it is come: the morning is gone forth; the rod hath blossomed, pride hath budded. 7:11 Violence is risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their’s: neither shall there be wailing for them.

The hour of trial is nearly upon us and we rejoice in our empty vain physical wealth, and our high places of idolatrous edifices of auditoriums, buildings and corporate entities; which we regard as representative of our own supposed godliness; when we should be seeking the spiritual wealth of the whole Word of God!

Physical wealth and numbers are no indication of our acceptability to God; the proofs of godliness are not the numbers of followers, but in how committed we are to live by every Word of God.

7:12 The time is come, the day draweth near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

7:13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is touching the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

When the tribulation begins our people will be smitten with fear and weakness.

7:14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goeth to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof. 7:15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword [by violence]; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

Judea will be occupied by a terrible foe and America will collapse on itself and will be filled with violence as each race, religion and family seeks the means to survive.  From massive violent riots to friend murdering friend for a piece of bread, violence will fill the land.  People will seek to hide themselves from the correction and they shall mourn for their sins and the correction thereof; and they shall suffer from the famine and pestilence.

7:16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

God will fill everyone with terror so that we will flee in fear even when none pursues.

Brethren this is not so much about the power of other nations; it is about a strong correction from Almighty GOD!

7:17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water. 7:18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

Our silver and gold and all our precious physical things will not save us from God’s just and righteous correction on physical and spiritual Israel, because of all our idols and rebellions against the Word of God!

7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD:

In the famine we, yes today’s Ekklesia along with physical Israel, will hunger and thirst physically so that we may learn to hunger and thirst to learn and live by every Word of God!

they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels [stomachs]: because it is the [our pride and wealth] stumblingblock of their iniquity.

We have despoiled and corrupted the land that God has given to us in his bountiful blessing;  Therefore he will take his blessings from us.

7:20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them. 7:21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.

God will turn away from physical and spiritual Israel, withdrawing his blessings.

7:22 My face will I turn also from them,  [because wicked men have come into the flock and turned many away from God, polluting the holiness of the flock] and they shall pollute my secret place: for [Because the robbers and wicked deceivers have stolen and defiled the flock into following idols of men away from Christ and the Word of God] the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

Both physical and spiritual Israel are full of bloody crimes; physical Israel is full of physical crimes and spiritual Israel is full of spiritual crimes, rejecting any zeal for the Word of God and persecuting those who are zealous to follow the Mighty One of Jacob!

7:23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

The tribulation will begin in Jerusalem and Judea (Mat 24:15) and God will allow the worst [most blood thirsty] of the heathen (Psalm 83) to take possession of the Jewish state!

7:24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

Judah shall be overcome and will finally sincerely seek peace, and find only occupation and captivity.

7:25 Destruction cometh; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

The wicked foolishness in the nations of Israel and the leaders of today’s Ekklesia who follow men and exalt their own ways will perish, and the people will sincerely repent to finally seek their God!

7:26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

7:27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
