Ezekiel 10 – 11

Ezekiel 10

Ezekiel sees the same flying object that he saw the first time and again he describes the crystal base above the cherubs and the Sapphire Throne set on that crystal base.

Ezekiel 10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

The one on the throne bade the man clothed in linen who was responsible for marking out the faithful to God (Ez 9:2, Rev 11), to come and take hot coals of fire and scatter them over Jerusalem.

10:2 And he spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

This scattering of hot coals of fire on Jerusalem is a prophetic warning of the burning of the city by Nebuchadnezzar which came in 586 B.C., and a great correction is now coming upon physical Jerusalem, Judea and the nations of Israel, and upon the spiritual temple of today’s Spiritual Ekklesia.

10:3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house [temple], when the man [angel clothed in linen] went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

The inner courtyard of the temple contained the altar and is the courtyard of the priests. it is figurative of the faithful who cry and sigh over all the evils in the temple which was destroyed by Nebuchadnezzar,  in an allegory of God’s faithful lamenting over the evils in today’s Spiritual Ekklesia.

The faithful to live by every Word of God will be measured and separated out and placed under the protection of a loving Husband!  The zealously faithful to the whole Word of God are surrounded by the power of the LORD!

Revelation 11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein 11:2 But the court which is without the temple [the outer courtyard of the temple] leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.

The inner courtyard was filled with the glory of the LORD, for the inner courtyard of the priests represents the faithful zealous brethren who are passionate to follow the Lamb of God whithersoever he goeth!  The faithful are acceptable to God because they are full of love for their spiritual Husband to please him; and they are the Beloved of the LORD; like the Shulamite of the Song of Songs they are the apple of God’s eye and the Glory of the Eternal shines upon them!

Ezekiel 10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD’s glory. 10:5 And the sound of the cherubims’ wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaketh.

The angel clothed in linen went among the cherubs and received the hot coals.

10:6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.  10:7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.

It is revealed that under their wings these cherubs had arms and hands like a man.

10:8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man’s hand under their wings.

A second description of the cherubs and the conveyance that Ezekiel saw at the beginning of the book.

10:9 And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.

The four wheels each looked the same; each one appearing to be one wheel inside another wheel.

10:10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.

Imagine that, a conveyance directed by eye or head movements!

10:11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

10:12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.

The wheels also took voice commands.

10:13 As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.

Each cherub had one head with a different face on each side.

10:14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

This is the same living conveyance that Ezekiel had seen by the river at the first.

10:15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.

The wheels coordinated with the cherubs, seemingly being a part of these special cherubs.

10:16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them. 10:17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

Then YHVH departed from the physical Jerusalem temple to be taken away by this living conveyance.

10:18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

Let the reader understand; especially those in the craft.  God’s faithful put their backs to the East and journey to the West to find God the Father.  The heathen put their backs to the West and journey away from God to the East.

10:19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one [of the wicked. Ezek 11:2]  stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD’s house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

10:20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims. 10:21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

10:22 And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.

Ezekiel 11

This was a vision of the latter days

The men that were seen in the vision were types of the end time wicked leaders of today’s latter day Spiritual Ekklesia, who lead the people into idolizing men, the false traditions of men and exalting corporate idols.

Ezekiel 11:1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD’s house, which looketh eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

These people may say that the end is near to extract wealth from the people, but secretly they think “My LORD Delays” and they do their best to exalt themselves; dominating and seeking their own personal gain; leading the brethren astray to follow idols of men away from God.

11:2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city: 11:3 Which say, It is not near [My LORD Delays]; let us build houses: this city [Jerusalem, the Ekklesia] is the caldron  [more properly an iron pot see Ezekiel 4:3, Strong: H5518], and we be [the flesh or people of God inside Jerusalem (the Ekklesia the people  Strong: H1320 )  under God’s iron protection] the flesh.

This is difficult; but it is about these folks claiming that they are the people of God under the protection of God as represented by the protective walls of the holy city Jerusalem, and thinking that no matter what they do, no harm can befall them because they call themselves by God’s name.

Like the apostate elders who lie saying “I am a minister of Jesus Christ and I can do anything I want and God must back me up:”  They say:  “We have or are in the holy temple either physical or spiritual and we call ourselves God’s people; therefore we can do as we want, and we will be protected by God’s iron defense and no harm can befall us.”

Today most of the Spiritual Ekklesia says the same thing; falsely claiming that they are God’s people as they follow their idols of men in spiritual adultery against their espoused Husband, saying:  “We are God’s church and we shall never fall into tribulation.”

God’s Spiritual Ekklesia is NOT a corporate organization!  No, Never!  God’s Spiritual Ekklesia is the people who live by every Word of God through the indwelling of God’s Spirit; wherever they are!

God warns us by Jeremiah that we are not God’s people, if we do not live by God’s Word.

Jeremiah  7:1  The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying.  7:2 Stand in the gate of the Lord‘s house, and proclaim there this word, and say, Hear the word of the Lord, all ye of Judah, that enter in at these gates to worship the Lord.

Remember that physical Judah and Israel are an allegory of spiritual Israel, and that every physical sin has its spiritual implications.  Physical adultery is sinning against a spouse, and spiritual adultery is turning away from one’s spiritual spouse to embrace false teachings and idols.

Stealing physically is taking what one has no right to have, and spiritual stealing is to take what one has no spiritual right to take; like stealing God’s flock to turn them to follow an idol of men.

If we sincerely repent and learn and keep the whole Word of God we will be established; if we reject any part of the Word of God for our own ways, idols of men and false traditions or corporate idols; we shall be severely corrected.

7:3 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, Amend your ways and your doings, and I will cause you to dwell in this place.

Do not trust in lying words saying that we are the true Spiritual Ekklesia and no evil will come upon us; for Jesus Christ allowed God’s temple in Jerusalem to be destroyed twice to correct the people because of sin and he will most certainly correct us for committing the same sins.

7:4 Trust ye not in lying words, saying, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, The temple of the LORD, are these.

If we sincerely repent of polluting God’s holy Sabbaths and idolizing men, corporate organizations and false traditions; if we sincerely repent of our spiritual idolatry and spiritual adulteries of following idols of men and not living by every Word of God:  We will be forgiven and established.

7:5 For if ye throughly amend your ways and your doings; if ye throughly execute judgment between a man and his neighbour; 7:6 If ye oppress not the stranger, the fatherless, and the widow, and shed not innocent blood in this place, neither walk after other gods to your hurt: 7:7 Then will I cause you to dwell in this place, in the land that I gave to your fathers, for ever and ever.

Do not trust in the lies of men; who lie saying that organizational loyalty is synonymous with loyalty to God.

7:8 Behold, ye trust in lying words, that cannot profit.

We commit spiritual adultery, we sin against our baptismal vow, the leaders steal God’s funds to spend excessively on their false gods [building great buildings and buying  memorabilia of some man to remember their human idol] and on themselves.

We follow leaders and elders who deceive with part truths and often lie, we call ourselves godly and then persecute those who are zealous to live by every Word of God. For the most part we will not rebuke sin, nor will we teach the righteousness of the whole Word of God.

We pollute God’s holy Sabbath and Holy Days and we reject the Biblical teaching regarding the calendar, keeping God’s High Days on our own humanly devised dates and not on God’s dates.  We are self-exultant and full of stubborn self-will and pride, imagining ourselves righteous and godly and in need of nothing, to the point where we will not even faithfully keep the Word of God.

7:9 Will ye steal, murder, and commit adultery, and swear falsely, and burn incense unto Baal, and walk after other gods whom ye know not; 7:10 And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations? 7:11 Is this house, which is called by my name, become a den of robbers in your eyes? Behold, even I have seen it, saith the LORD.

Look and see what Jesus Christ did to the place of the tabernacle at Shiloh, and today we also have the example of the destruction of the temple at Jerusalem by the Babylonians and the later destruction of the temple by the Romans!

Let us quickly and sincerely repent lest this evil come upon today’s Spiritual Ekklesia for our same sins.

To call ourselves the people of God is a blasphemes lie unless we become the people of God by learning and zealously living by every Word of God.

7:12 But go ye now unto my place which was in Shiloh, where I set my name at the first, and see what I did to it for the wickedness of my people Israel.

Jesus Christ told those people that he would destroy the temple at Jerusalem just as he destroyed the place of the tabernacle at Shiloh; this being an example for today’s physical and spiritual Israel that God will bring us down just as he brought down Shiloh and later the Jerusalem Temple.

7:13 And now, because ye have done all these works, saith the LORD, and I spake unto you, rising up early and speaking, but ye heard not; and I called you, but ye answered not; 7:14 Therefore will I do unto this house, which is called by my name, wherein ye trust, and unto the place which I gave to you and to your fathers, as I have done to Shiloh.

If we sin like they did, and we most certainly are sinning as they did; we shall receive severe correction that they did; regardless of the claims we make and the name we label ourselves with.

Jeremiah called on Judah to remember that Ephraim had been cast out of the land and had already in captivity for over 100 years when Jeremiah wrote.

Calling ourselves godly; does NOT make us godly!

7:15 And I will cast you out of my sight, as I have cast out all your brethren, even the whole seed of Ephraim. 7:16 Therefore pray not thou for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them, neither make intercession to me: for I will not hear thee.

Making cakes to the Queen of heaven refers to Easter  [Astarte, Diana] buns; and the traditional round birthday cake with the smoke of its candles rising up to the Queen of heaven.

A point of interest:  The statue called Liberty in New York, is Aphrodite [Astarte, Diana] given to the Masons of the United States as a gift from the Masons of France: And we swell with pride before it.

Physically and spiritually we worship false gods by blindly following the teachings of men contrary to the Word of God.

7:17 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem? 7:18 The children gather wood, and the fathers kindle the fire, and the women knead their dough, to make cakes to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto other gods, that they may provoke me to anger.

The anger of God the Father and Jesus Christ will be poured out on all those who break either the letter or the spirit of the law and any part of the whole Word of God.

7:19 Do they provoke me to anger? saith the LORD: do they not provoke themselves to the confusion of their own faces? 7:20 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, mine anger and my fury shall be poured out upon this place, upon man, and upon beast, and upon the trees of the field, and upon the fruit of the ground; and it shall burn, and shall not be quenched.

God the Father and Jesus Christ want our sincere repentance, they want us to learn and live by every Word of God so that we may be perfect as God is perfect, so that we may become like God, living as God lives.  Sacrifice implies that sin has been done; God wants us to live by every Word of God so that there will be no more need for sacrifice.

7:21 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Put your burnt offerings unto your sacrifices, and eat flesh. 7:22 For I spake not unto your fathers, nor commanded them in the day that I brought them out of the land of Egypt, concerning burnt offerings or sacrifices:

LEARN and KEEP the whole Word of God!  That is what we have been called to do!

7:23 But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be my people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. 7:24 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear, but walked in the counsels and in the imagination of their evil heart, and went backward, and not forward.

Just as physical Israel was hardened against the whole Word of God; so today’s Spiritual Ekklesia has been deceived and led away from living by every Word of God; into man worship, false traditions and organizational idolatry.

7:25 Since the day that your fathers came forth out of the land of Egypt unto this day I have even sent unto you all my servants the prophets, daily rising up early and sending them: 7:26 Yet they [Israel/Judah] hearkened not unto me, nor inclined their ear, but hardened their neck: they did worse than their fathers.

Tragically these words can be said to and about today’s Spiritual Ekklesia.

7:27 Therefore thou shalt speak all these words unto them; but they will not hearken to thee: thou shalt also call unto them; but they will not answer thee. 7:28 But thou shalt say unto them, This is a nation that obeyeth not the voice of the LORD their God, nor receiveth correction: truth is perished, and is cut off from their mouth.

Jesus Christ will reject those who have espoused themselves to him as a New Covenant spiritual Israel and then turned to follow after other lovers [idols of men].

Those who have lost their zeal for their espoused Husband to live by every Word of God, only to be hot for false traditions and running after and bowing down before idols of men who cannot save; will be rejected by God.

Today, many love a corporate entity or some of its elders, leaders or its social life; MORE than they love Jesus Christ and the Word of God!

People tell me all the time:   “Oh how I love the Church”  not realizing that loving men and organizations overmuch; and loving them more than they love God the Father and Jesus Christ and the Word of God, is a major sin that separates us from God the Father and Jesus Christ; it is IDOLATRY.

Jerusalem was the place of the physical temple and this is a reference to US as the spiritual temple of God the Father through the indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

The hair of a woman is her glory and her pride; God commands physical and spiritual Jerusalem to figuratively shave our heads as a symbol of casting aside our pride, because we are full of spiritual adultery, loving false gods instead of our spiritual Husband.

God calls us to mourn in true sincere repentance!

7:29 Cut off thine hair [cast aside our pride], O Jerusalem, and cast it away, and take up a lamentation on high places; for the LORD hath rejected and forsaken the generation of his wrath.

Today’s physical Judah and spiritual Judah have turned away from God and need to quickly repent.

Today’s Spiritual Ekklesia has polluted the temple of God [themselves] by teaching false traditions and the exalting of men as being equal with or superior to the Word of God.

7:30 For the children of [physical and spiritual] Judah have done evil in my sight, saith the LORD: they have set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to pollute it.

We sacrifice our own children to our idols by teaching them to exalt men and organizations [our idols] above the Word of God.

We teach our children to obey our idols of men and our false traditions above living by every Word of God;  and in so doing we dedicate them to our idols and set them on the path to their destruction.

7:31 And they have built the high places of Tophet, which is in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to burn their sons and their daughters in the fire; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my heart.

Our idols will be destroyed, and we will become totally disillusioned with false traditions and false teachings, until we sincerely repent and turn to live by every Word of God; the unrepentant will die in their sin of fearing and obeying men and not God.

7:32 Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that it shall no more be called Tophet, nor the valley of the son of Hinnom, but the valley of slaughter: for they shall bury in Tophet, till there be no place. 7:33 And the carcases of this people shall be meat for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth; and none shall fray them away.

Both physical Judah/Israel and today’s Spiritual Ekklesia will be corrected until they sincerely repent.

7:34 Then will I cause to cease from the cities of Judah, and from the streets of Jerusalem, the voice of mirth, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride: for the land shall be desolate.

This is what the Eternal has appointed for today’s apostate called out Ekklesia of spiritual Israel who exalt themselves and not the Eternal.

Ezekiel 11:4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

The Eternal knows the very thoughts in our heads.

11:5 And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus saith the LORD; Thus have ye said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

The corporate groups of today’s Spiritual Ekklesia have led the brethren astray from the Word of God towards their spiritual destruction.

11:6 Ye have multiplied your slain in this city, and ye have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

Therefore Jesus Christ will reject these corporate idols and will destroy them along with their idols of men.  Those who lead the brethren to follow themselves away from God and his Word (Rev 3:14-22) will be cast into the tribulation that they fear.

11:7 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Your slain whom ye have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it. 11:8 Ye have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, saith the Lord GOD. 11:9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

Physical Israel/Judah will be judged and today’s wayward Spiritual Ekklesia will be corrected along with them.

11:10 Ye shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

Neither the walls of Jerusalem nor calling ourselves God’s people will protect the wicked from the wrath of God.  Claiming to be the people of God will be no defense for those who have no zeal to live by every Word of God.

11:11 This city shall not be your caldron [calling ourselves godly will not save the spiritual Ekklesia see Ezekiel 4:3, Strong: H5518], neither shall ye be the flesh [God’s people  Strong: H1320 ] in the midst [of God’s iron protection] thereof; but I will judge [correct you] you in the border of Israel:

Why?  Because neither physical nor spiritual Israel/Judah has kept the Word of God!

11:12 And ye shall know that I am the LORD: for ye have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

Then one wicked leader died during the prophetic declaration of Ezekiel.

11:13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! wilt thou make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

Physical Israel and Judah say that they were given the land, forgetting that possession of the promised land either physical or spiritual, is entirely dependent on living by every Word of God; see the whole Fifth Book of Moses.

Today’s corporate Ekklesia claims that they are the called of God and that the tribulation will not come near them; forgetting that to remain God’s people, they must zealously live by every Word of God.

They say “follow us to be saved” as they lead the people to destruction, because we MUST follow God and not idols of men to be saved!

11:14 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 11:15 Son of man, thy brethren, even thy brethren, the men of thy kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

In the correction of great tribulation God will make sure that a remnant survives

11:16 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

Then Christ promised that after we have been corrected and have sincerely repented, physical Israel will return to God and to the physical promised land; and much of the Spiritual Ekklesia after being corrected will sincerely repent and will return to God and inherit the Promised Land of eternal life.

11:17 Therefore say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where ye have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

All wickedness and idolatry will be removed from BOTH physical and spiritual Israel.

11:18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

Then Messiah the Christ will remove our proud stubborn hearts of stone; and he will fill us with his Spirit, writing his Word in our minds; so that we may zealously live by every Word of God forever more (Jer 31:31).

Today’s Ekklesia think that they are filled with God’s Spirit and that they have all spiritual knowledge; not realizing how spiritually wretched,  blind and naked of God’s righteousness they really are (Rev 3:15)

11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: 11:20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God (Jer 31:31).

Those in today’s physical and spiritual Israel/Judah who will not sincerely repent will face destruction.

11:21 But as for them whose heart walketh after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, saith the Lord GOD.

Then the Eternal left and the vision ended

11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

11:23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city. 11:24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

Then Ezekiel told those in the FIRST deportation in Babylon all these things in warning about the final fall of Jerusalem in c587 B.C. and its destruction in 586 B.C.which is an instructional allegory of the coming 42 month latter day great tribulation; and wrote the words out for the instruction of the people at that time and the latter day Spiritual Ekklesia.

11:25 Then I spake unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had shewed me.
