In the beginning God created the first man in His own image Gen 1:27. God then made woman
from man Gen 2:22. So, the woman, being made from the man was like him in what we would call racial characteristics. Therefore,
all of their children were racially like their parents.
As time went on; There were GIANTS in the earth in
those days; and also after that, when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men, and they bare children to them,
the same became MIGHTY MEN which were of old, men of renown. Gen 6:4. A study of the word GIANTS will
reveal that this word can also mean; tyrant, bully, dictator or mighty man. Now notice the last line
of verse four. The same became MIGHTY MEN, MEN OF RENOWN. It is clear that the term GIANTS was meant as, men great
in deeds, not necessarily great in stature.
What of the children of God reproducing with the daughters of men?
The term; children of God, could not refer to angels, in this circumstance. For angels do not marry Mat 22:30.
They are not male and female. The term; children of God could not refer to God himself. For in the resurrection
we shall be like Him Philip 3:21. If we are like Him and we will be neither male or female then;
He is neither male nor female. We also know that God has made every creature after it's own KIND Gen 1:21-25.
The various KINDS or species cannot interbreed, they cannot intermix! God has set unbreachable boundries between
the species. Since this is the case; How can angels reproduce with humans, who have been made, the God KIND, in the
image and likeness of God Gen 1:26? Further: How could God send His Son as human KIND, if humans were of the same
KIND as angels and not of the God KIND? Clearly the Son of God was made flesh, of the human KIND, showing that human
beings were made after the image and likeness of God; OF THE GOD KIND! Gen 1:26. God is clearly different from the angels,
so the God KIND is clearly different from angel kind. If God could reproduce Himself with angels; Where is the need
for man? Therefore, this term; the children of God came in unto the daughters of men, can only mean that God"s converted
children intermarried with unconverted women.
Of course, there were also large people, just as there are
large people today. There are also small people. This is simply due to the various genetic possibilities built
into the creation. There are also large and small horses, dogs ect; did they reproduce with angels?
This activity had nothing to do with RACE and everything to do with FAITH. In this circumstance, the natural
desire of husbands to please their wives would lead them to compromise with God's word, in the same manner as both Adam
and Solomon did. Resulting in the bullying, selfish and dominating attitudes of sinfulness, causing the violence
and suffering, which God found necessary to end.
Now, Noah was found a just man and perfect (upright) in
his generations Gen 6:9. This simply means exactly what it says; Noah was a just and upright man throughout the
time, the generations, in which he lived. This had absolutely NOTHING to do with RACE, and EVERYTHING to do with FAITH
AND OBEDIENCE TO GOD.
If racial purity was required to please God as some have said, where did race come
from? If Ham and Japheth married interracially, why were they spared from the flood? Why did Noah allow
this? And where did they find wives of different races? The answer to these questions are all very simple. There
were no races before the flood! All people had descended from ADAM AND WERE ALL OF THE SAME RACE!
How many
races are there? Are there only three? NO! There are three main, very general types, but there are seventy
races of humanity! This is revealed in Gen 10, where the families of Noah are divided.
Gen 11 reveals when
and how the families of mankind were divided. God confused their languages to divide them. In the world today,
each race of man has their own language. Language and race are what identifies and sets apart each of the families
of man! Race was created at the same time and for the same purpose that languages were created! To divide the
families of men. And, Oh how effective, this has been!
ALL RACES WERE CREATED BY GOD! They are ALL
BEAUTIFUL AND GOOD! THEY ARE THE CREATION OF ALMIGHTY GOD! Every one of them has the potential to become, A SON
OF GOD! With God there is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female. All are of equal value before HIM!
Interfaith marriage is wrong! Is interracial marriage wrong? Given the divisive nature of racial differences
and the potential cultural shock it would be wise to marry within ones own social group. In todays world there are already
great difficulties to overcome in achieving a good marriage, it would be wise, not to make things any more difficult
than they already are.
