After entering a marriage covenant with Christ at Sinai Heb 1:2, Heb 1:8-10, Heb 11:23-26 and 1
Cor 10:1-4. The people through unbelief, did not enter the land Heb 3:19, even so the fearful and unbelieving shall
not enter the kingdom of God Rev 21:8. Those who are too afraid to work out their own salvation in fear and trembling
Ph'p 2:12 and therefore rely upon others to do their work, their thinking, for them, burying their talent, will not
be in the kingdom Mat 25:24-28. One should not let fear keep them from learning or growing, rather one should be VERY
afraid to trust any man with their eternal salvation.
Now when the people did enter the land, God made it very
clear that their possession of the land was totally conditional upon their obedience to Him Deu 28:64. Over hundreds
of years the people rebelled against their God, they stoned His prophets and rejected His warnings. Over and over He
warned them until finally about 718 BC He allowed the Assyrian armies to conquer Israel. After capturing Samaria they
began to deport Israel over a period of years. Now, when the prophets warned of the coming disaster some few fled south
to Judea. Others fled to Judea as the Assyrians approached, but the vast majority were removed from off the land
by Assyria. Eventually Assyria was also driven from their land and Israel traveled with them, migrating to Europe, some
continuing on to North America. While those few who had fled to Judah began to assimilate into Judah. Even so,
some new testament writers refer to some persons as being from other tribes besides Judah.
Meanwhile Judah wavered
between obedience and rebellion for nearly one hundred and fifty years before they were removed from the land by Babylon.
Taken to Babylon, a very few began to repent and eventually were allowed to return to the land by God. The vast majority
remained in Babylon, where, heavily influenced by Babylonian tradition the Talmud was written. To these people the Talmud
took on an importance that surpassed the writings of Moses. The Talmud became the core of their belief system, a blend
of the Babylonian mysteries and traditions regarding Moses. In much the same way that the Catholic Church became a blending
of some biblical teachings with the traditions of the European nations.
Those repentant Jews,
called Mosaic Pharisees became the society to which Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) came. This religious group was wiped
out in the ensuing rebellion against Rome Dan 9:26. Leaving the followers of the Talmud, called Hellenic Pharisees,
as the surviving religion of the Jewish people. The religion of the modern Rabbins is NOT the religion that God gave
to Moses, it IS a blending of the writings of Moses with the religion of Babylon and the reasonings and traditions of men.
The Mosaic Pharisees sat in Moses Seat as administrators of the Mosaic Covenant until that covenant ended with the death of
the husband! The modern Rabbins do NOT and have NEVER sat in Moses Seat. Rather they administer nothing more than another
branch of the Babylonian Mysteries!
In this latter day the Jewish people claim that all Palestine is theirs because
God gave this land to them. In fact, the land belongs to GOD, not any one nation. God gave the land to both Israel and
Judah provided that they obeyed HIM. They did not obey Him in the past and were removed from the land. Today,
even a blind man in the state of Israel knows that they do not obey God any more. They do not keep His commandments.
GOD IS CONSISTENT. HE WILL REMOVE THEM AGAIN, UNLESS THEY QUICKLY REPENT. When they are removed; it will not be
because God is no longer able to protect them from a hateful satan. It will be because God is fighting against them
over their sinful rebellious behaviour. When Judah goes down, Israel shall fall with them Hos 5:5. The Judeo-Israeli
people are not a righteous people being persecuted, they are a wicked rebellious people being corrected! The key to
the security problems of the Jewish State and the United States and their allies is not more war, it is REPENTANCE.
This history is continued in our Ezek 4 article.
