OUTREACH SITE:   Egypt, South Israel, on High Alert Over Potential Salafist Offensive

NEWS:  Intelligence Communities across the Middle East are leaking that the United States has taken a decision to go to war against Syria and Iran in the near future.  Forces are in place and will be ready to go at the end of Sep.  No decision on a precise date has yet been made but October is thought to be the most probable window of opportunity as the weather turns to freezing rain and snow at higher elevations by Nov.

It is conceivable that Israel will launch an operation against Gaza at any time.

Today three militants entered Israel from Egypt and began firing at soldiers guarding a fence building crew.  All three were killed by security responders.  It is not yet known if they are from Sinai or Gaza.

Psalm 23-28

King James Version (KJV)

Psalm 23

This beautiful psalm is one of the most popular and commonly sung or recited.  yet how many actually pay much attention to the meaning of the words beyond the comfort they bring?

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He is ONLY our shepherd if we follow him and do his will keeping all of his teachings and commandments.  If we stray from his ways we are lost and subject to correction.

If we are faithful to him we shall never lack the essentials of eternal life.

Mat 5:6  Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

The path of  righteousness is the commandments of God, the Good Shepherd always leads the flock to the diligent faithful zealous keeping of all the commandments of God.

The Good Shepherd feeds his flock with the Bread of  Life which is the green pastures of the Word and commandments of God.  He gives the waters of life freely to those who love God and enthusiastically keep his commandments.

John 6:35   And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

The Good Shepherd teaches us the path and way to life eternal, restoring our souls [lives] by converting us to righteousness through teaching us the law and ways of God which bring life eternal.

4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Even in the face of death the faithful will have no fear for I trust in the rod of your power and the staff of your promises.

Is 10:5   O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine indignation.

The rod of correction is for the lax, lukewarm, rebellous and wicked and is a defense for the zealous and faithful of God.  The staff of  God’s indignation is against the wicked.

In the hand of the Assyrian it will be used to punish and correct the lax, lukewarm and faithless for God and his commandments; while the passionately zealous need have no fear, for they shall be preserved by their loving Good Shepherd and espoused Husband.

God knows what he is doing, for the wicked shall drive out the righteous so that the righteous may be preserved when the wicked are corrected.

5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.

The Good Shepherd will provide for and care for his beloved espoused bride; cherishing the faithful who do his will and look ONLY to him, as his most prized and valued possession.  His tavek wikkl be filled with the spiritual meat of his word and commandments; the way of life eternal.

The Good Shepherd  feeds his flock and the table of the Lord is bountiful with wisdom and the teachings of God.  As men eat food,  the called and faithful are to eat and internalize the very Word of God, from the table of the Lord; which is the Holy Scriptures of God.

The Good Shepherd anoints his beloved with oil, pouring out the oil of God’s spirit upon those who commit enthusiastically to do his will, to keep all of his commandments and who are filled with a passionate love for everything about our espoused Husband and his Father.

God’s spirit is given to the repentant who keep his commandments and do his will;  the more zeal we have for God and his law the more oil will be given to us, until we overflow with the word and law of God and the peace and unity with God that his spirit brings.

If we remain faithful and maintain our passionate love for our Lord; doing his will and keeping all of his commandments without any compromise:

6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

Psalm 24

We are all the creation of God and we all are God’s possessions by virtue of his creation.

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.

Who shall be changed and resurrected, to stand on the Holy Hill and in the government of Jesus Christ?

3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in his holy place?

He who is clean from sin and pure from defilement with the uncleanness of iniquity; he who is honestly repentant and fully committed to keeping all the commandments of God and to doing all the will of our Husband and his Father.

4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.

Mat 5:1   And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

5 He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.

Those that seek to do the will of God out of a passionate love for God and his Word; shall rise on that day and enter into the family of God.

6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek thy face, O Jacob. Selah.

When the King of Glory comes to his inheritance, his beloved shall stand with him; all the earth shall rejoice in him!

7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.

9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; even lift them up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.

Psalm 25

Oh Lord my God, lift me up and deliver me; for I repent continually and seek thy salvation .  None who call upon you shall ever be ashamed!

1 Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. 2 O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. 3 Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. 4 Shew me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths.

Teach me thy truth for thy Word is truth.

5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Be merciful to me for I love thee and wait upon thee to serve thee at all times.

6 Remember, O Lord, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

Remember not my sins, for I have repented of them and turned to your ways and commandments.

7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness’ sake, O Lord.

Teach your people your ways and law, that they might be delivered from sin and led into life eternal.

8 Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. 9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. 10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

The word’s of God are purity and truth which delivers from sin and death.  To depart from the law of the Eternal is foolishness and  desiring one’s own destruction.

11 For thy name’s sake, O Lord, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

The man who respects the  word of God and does God’s will and commandment, shall inherit the earth.  But the wicked who compromise with and teach men to tolerate sin and false teachings shall be destroyed and shall be as ashes under the feet of the righteous in that day; unless they repent.

Mal 4:1    For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.

3 And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

4 Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.

12 What man is he that feareth the Lord? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. 13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

14 The secret [things of God are understood] of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Only the law of our God can bring peace and unity with God.

Will you seek unity with God by the diligent internalizing of his law, or a unity with the lukewarm, compromising faithless?

Only God can deliver us out of all our trials and resurrect us to stand with him on that day.  Therefore repent an dreturn to thy God oh Israel.

15 Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. 17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. 18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. 19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. 21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. 22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Psalm 26

1 Judge me, O Lord; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the Lord; therefore I shall not slide. 2 Examine me, O Lord, and prove me; try my reins and my heart. 3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

The faithful gladly submit to God’s judgment in faith knowing that they are acceptable to him because they have loved with a passionate love and cherished everything about God and his Word and commandments.

The faithful of God will not consort with the wicked or their wickedness.

4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers. 5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

They shall wash their hands [wash away evil in repentance] in the Word of God, so that only cleanness and innocency remain.

6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O Lord: 7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.

The faithful love the Eternal and the place where he resides; they love to be in the presence of God, so that they may learn from him and do his word, learning the wisdom of his law.

8 Lord, I have loved the habitation of thy house, and the place where thine honour dwelleth.

Let the faithful of God not assemble with the wicked.

9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men: 10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

Let the faithful seek out the presence of God; and live in the integrity of his law and God will be merciful to them.  Let the faithful have UNITY with GOD!

11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

12 My foot standeth in an even [sure, solid] place [Standing on the Word of God and upon his commandments]: in the congregations will I bless the Lord.

Psalm 27

God is the ONLY light in the darkness of this world; if his light be in us, we shall have no fear for he shall deliver from all enemies until he has vanquished death itself.

1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

Let the faithful stand on all the commandments of God and be confident in the promises and will of God.

2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell. 3 Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

The reward of the faithful is to dwell with the Lord for all the days of an eternal life.

4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in his temple.

Run, Run, Run; to God, and delight in his law when persecution rises up against us.

5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

The Mighty One shall raise up his faithful in that day and exalt them over the lukewarm, faithless, unbelieving and all commandment breakers.

6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.

Seek the presence of God through his indwelling spirit by following that Holy Spirit to diligently seek out to understand and keep all the ways and commandments of God.

7 Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, Lord, will I seek.

God hides his face from sinners and compromisers with his commandments.  It is for this reason that today’s Church of God is in such a state.  They by their rejection of the practical application of his commandments for their traditions have separated themselves for God.

Is 59:1   Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.

We repent before you seeking your face and ways; forgive us and turn your face and smile on us, accepting our contrition through the sacrifice of Christ.

9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

I know that God will never forsake me.  Even if my parents reject me, surely God will love and accept me if I am faithful to his word and law.

10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the Lord will take me up.

Lord teach my thy law and commandments that I might be just like you.  Help me to learn thy will and to walk in thy paths that I not be overcome by sin.

11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies. 12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

I would perish if I had not seen the mercy and goodness of the law of my God.

13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.

Stay strong and of a good courage for the commandments and will of God and he will raise you up on that day.

14 Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord.

Psalm 28

The faithful depend on God, he alone is their rock. Teach us the ways of  the righteousness of thy law. Keep not thy ways secret from us lest we p[erish with the wicked.

1  Unto thee will I cry, O Lord my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if thou be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit. 2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto thee, when I lift up my hands toward thy holy oracle.

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert. 5 Because they regard not the works of the Lord, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

The Eternal hears the repentance and cry of his beloved faithful.

6 Blessed be the Lord, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

The Eternal is strong and mighty to save, his ways are wisdom and life.  Why would any man seek to save himself by compromising the pure law of the Mighty God who overcame all to sit at the Father's right hand?

Turn to the Great God of our salvation while he may be found and rejoice in his commandments.

Romans 7:12   1Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good.

1 Pet 1:13   Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

14 As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance:

15 But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

16 Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.

17 And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: [of offending God by rebelling against him through the wickedness of breaking even the least of his commandments].

7 The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

8 The Lord is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.

9 Save thy people, and bless thine inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
