Getting Nowhare: Lapid Surges in Polls

I am working on a post which will include several of his speeches, as Cardinal Ravasi is being vetted for the papacy, giving 17 talks with the feature speaker position at the week long Lenten retreat of the Roman Curia.  The retreat ends this weekend. Both John Paul and Benedict were presented to the curia in the same manner.

If you did not know catholic doctrine, you would easily be taken in by this man with a honey tongue.  He is most charming and deceiving, presenting positions that would not offend anyone.

A few quotes:

1)  “The word of God irradiates its splendour in the horizon of the conscience,
melting our coldness and spreading light and hope”.

2)  By remaining childlike we can nurture our faith he continues, citing the example
of little St. Therese of Lisieux as well as Christ’s teaching. He said they
teach us how to trust and remain pure, like children:
“They trustingly put their hands in the hands of adults, this is the great drama. The shame of
paedophilia is also there, because the child, out of trust, spontaneously
abandons himself to the adult, to his father.

3)  But – concluded the cardinal – “despite the darkness [in the world], the Christian experience always opens up to a horizon of light where darkness never has the last word.”

TODAY’s POST

The main post for today is the Esther and Purim as History and Prophetic Allegory posted at the outreach site.  Please do click through to this important post on a subject which is often neglected.

UCG NEWS:  Victor Kubik took time in his Ministerial Newsletter today to talk about his  membership in the Masonic Satellite organization; Rotary Club.  He tried to present his membership in this Satanic organization masquerading as a “Good Works” entity, to say that his most recent meeting  in the Cinci branch of the club resulted in some superficial exposure of the UCG to leaders in the community.

First some information on the Rotary Club.

Any person even looking at the Rotary symbol and ring, should immediately grasp its connection to Masonry.

MASONIC ORGANIZATIONS HIDE UNDER MANY NAMES
(Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, Ruritans, Eastern Star, Woodmen, Merry Pranksters, Shriners, B’nai B’rith, Hellfire Club, Oddfellows, Elks, Job’s Daughters, Rainbow Girls, to name a few)

These club’s including Rotary, are Masonic adjunct organizations of business and professional leaders that claim to provide humanitarian service to improve human relations, encouraging high ethical standards in all vocations and building goodwill and peace in the world.  Its real purpose is to spread the Masonic docttrine that man can solve all his problems by his own efforts, and Satan’s lie that man can become a God through his personal efforts.

Rotary is an English word derived from “rotation”. The organization was named as such because meetings were held in members’ houses or offices by rotation. The presidency of the organization is still assumed by members by rotation as well. The clubs have chosen a distinctive emblem, which is a “gear wheel” in two colors, golden and blue, with 24 cogs and six golden spokes within the circle. Each two opposite sides constitute a diameter within the circle of the gear. They all constitute three diameters that cross in the center. When the starting point for each diameter is connected to the ends of the other two diameters, this constitutes the six-pointed star, surrounded by the two English words “Rotary” and “International”.
On 23 February 1905 C.E., the attorney Paul Harris founded the first Rotary club in Chicago, Illinois, as an arm of freemasonry. Rotary’s and other clubs connection to freemasonary is well known.
This was three years after he had spread his idea which was accepted by some people. Sylvester Schiele (coal merchant), Gustav A. Loehr (mines engineer), Hiram E. Shorey (tailor merchant) and Paul Harris (attorney) are considered the founders of the Rotary movement and the builders of its intellectual principles after a series of recurrent periodic meetings. Their first meeting was held in the same place where the Rotary Club, Chicago 177 today, was later founded.
Membership is not available for all people. Rather, one should wait for the club’s invitation for joining, according to the principle of selection.
• Classification is based on the main profession. There are 77 professions.
• Workers are deprived of the club’s membership, and only those who occupy high positions in society and or masonry are chosen.
• They try to have a balanced age level among the members and nourish the organization with new blood by attracting young members.
• There must be a representative for each profession. It is possible, however, that this rule is violated in order to have a desirable member or exclude an undesirable one. The third paragraph of Article IV of the Constitution of the Rotary International is as follows:
There should be no more than one member of each profession with the exception of the categories of religions, media and the diplomatic corps, with taking into account the provisions of the bylaws for the additional active members.
• The Board of Directors for each club must have one or two of the club’s former heads, who are the heirs of the Rotarian secret which descended from Paul Harris.
Among each 421 members of the Rotary Clubs, there must be at least 159 members who belong to Freemasonry, and this means that they are more loyal to Freemasonry than to the club.

- In some cases, membership of the Rotary was limited to the Masons, as it was the case in Edinburgh, Britain, in 1921 C.E.
- The Masonic rule for creating satelite organizations is, “If the Masons constitute an association along with others, they must not let it be led by others. The effective officials must be Masons and the association must act according to their principles.”
There are several clubs that intellectually and methodologically resemble the Rotary, which are: the Lions, Kiwanis, Exchange, Round Table, Pen and B’nai B’rith (Sons of the Covenant). These clubs work in the same way and for the same purpose with some slight modification to create many means to spread ideas and attract supporters and followers. There are visits exchanged among these clubs. In some cities there is a council for the clubs’ heads in order to coordinate with each other.
The amazing thing is that Vic thinks that by embracing worldliness, instead of working from inside the faith; that he is somehow shining the light of godliness!  His example of joining with the worldly is NOT godliness at all, for we are to be separate from the worldliness.
Associating and listening to the unconverted about doctrine, is why UCG has become so confused about the true meaning of Law and Grace.
1 Cor 6 is talking about far more than marriage; it is speaking about willful association with paganism and worldliness; to avoid being deceived by the evil cloaked in the apparent goodness; as Satan presents hmself as an angel of light.
Masonry is a great evil which hides itself behind a facade of ”Good Works”.
1 Cor 6:14   Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? 15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. 17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

On Top of the Hill by Vic Kubik

I’d like to share an item of interest about the home office and its location.  Since moving to the Cincinnati area, I have joined the local Rotary Club in Batavia.  It meets Tuesday’s at 7 am for one hour has  many community leaders as its members.  I have been part of Rotary since 1999 and have enjoyed meeting others in the community.  In our club we’ve had some very interesting speakers.  Notably, several work in Park 50, the office park adjacent to our home office and where the United Church of God first settled in 1998.

One guest was one of the seven senior engineers from Siemens Corporation located across Eastman Rd. from the home office.  Siemens employs about 600 people there  and is part of the huge German conglomerate that has nearly 500,000 people worldwide working for it.  He spoke about the diverse projects that they have been working on including the design of the solid fuel rockets for the Space Shuttle and expediting design of the Cadillac for General  Motors.  He sat next to me in the meeting and we started a conversation.  I told him that I was from the United Church of God across the road.  He said he always wanted to meet someone from there as for years he passed by our home office and its large sign and wondered who the people were who worked there.  I told him I was one of them and invited him to stop by and visit sometime.

In his presentation, he also spoke about the history of Siemens in Park 50.  He told us that before Siemens moved to the large building they are in now, they were the anchor tenants at Park 50.  When they moved, they left a lot of it empty.  When we moved from California to Ohio, Park 50 was still being repopulated from the Siemens move.  Now, it is a prestigious office park where many businesses operate.

Another person at club overhearing us told us that, too, has passed by our home office for eight years and never met anyone.  Also, I met individual who brokered the sale of the land for our home office also came forward and reminisced about the it.  He commented on what a nice location we were in.

Another guest speaking was the Marketing Vice President of Downing Exhibits which is across TechneCenter Drive from us. It’s a large 110,000 square foot facility that builds convention displays for top corporation across the country.  He asked me, “What do you up there?” referring to our building across the street. I told him about our world headquarters and that we produced a nationally aired television program on the premises.  Beyond Today is actually an internationally aired program.   He seemed very interested and I invited him also to come across the road and visit us.

Then another guest speaker,  one of the directors of PPG, just down the hill from us gave a presentation about their laboratories that produce various coatings for cans for food and beverages.  I told her I was from the United Church of God.  She then exclaimed, “Oh, you’re the people on top of hill.  We’re only half-way up.” It’s been very interesting to meet our neighbors and tell them about ourselves as they talk about the work they do.

My club has asked me to give a presentation about my January  trip to Africa in January in a few weeks that will give me opportunity to let a little bit more light shine from the “top of the hill.”
