OUTREACH SITE:   Israel Arrests Hamas Men in West Bank

Q&A:  Question:  You Said:   Jesus here shows the foolishness of those misguided people who think that angels married human women before the flood.

12:24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 12:25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.”
———————————————
So are you saying that Genesis 6:2 is not true, that this is a false scripture?
“sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose?”

Answer:  Dear sir
In some places angels are called the sons of God by virtue of having been created by God.  Also all humanity are the sons of God by virtue of being created by God in the image and likeness of God.

Since the term in Gen  6:2  appears ambiguous, we must look to other references to the subject.  The term “in heaven” is a reference to ALL angels for ALL angels were in heaven until some were cast out;   they did not gain new reproductive capabilities by virtue of the fact that they were placed under restraint to await judgment for sin.

However the “called out” of God are especially called the sons of God by their calling out of this world to Christ and the Father.

Psalm 82:6:  I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

Romans 8:14   For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.  For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.

This fact is made clear when we understand that the angels were made after the angel KIND, while manKIND was made after the human [God] KIND.  And we know that only KINDS can reproduce with their own KIND, Gen 1:24 which even nature itself teaches us.  To say that angels could reproduce with women is to say that angels could reproduce with God, or that lions can reproduce with elephants!  Species [kinds] barriers cannot be crossed.

Jesus makes the understanding crystal clear when he says that the angels DO NOT marry. The position that angels marry women is contrary to the direct word of Jesus Christ; and the laws of nature that He placed in living things.

Gen 6:2 refers to converted faithful called out followers of God;  [that is the true spiritual sons of God,  in the sense of being God's spiritual sons] as intermarrying with wicked worldly women who led them astray from God. A classic example being Solomon.  This is about inter-religious marriage which God has condemned from the beginning.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!   James

Mark 13-14

Mark 13 is the counterpart to Matthew 24.  Jesus prophesies that the temple will be destroyed by the fore-type of the great tribulation which occurred in about 70  AD.

1 And as he went out of the temple, one of his disciples saith unto him, Master, see what manner of stones and what buildings are here! 13:2 And Jesus answering said unto him, Seest thou these great buildings? there shall not be left one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

Jesus begins to expound on the last days and his return as King of kings; when these prophecies partially fulled in the past will be fulfilled in their fullness.

13:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives over against the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew asked him privately, 13:4 Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign when all these things shall be fulfilled?

The first warning is that many deceivers will come in the name of Christ.  Consider this very carefully.  This has always been applied to the Catholic Church and her daughters; but it is just as applicable to the Church of God!  MANY FALSE ELDERS have been ordained who feign godliness as they lead people astray from the teachings and commandments of Jesus Christ.

I am not just referring ot Joe Tkach or Ron Weinland or Bob Thiel who are very obviously false teachers!  Many others have taken over the other corporate organizations and have been compromising with the Word of God!

If they do not obey Christ and they compromise with his commandments then they have NO PART with Christ.

A person is the servant of the one he OBEYS: and if a man  claims to be the servant of Jesus Christ and he is not obeying Jesus Christ; he is NOT the servant of Christ, no matter what he claims. He is a fraud!

Anyone who teaches tolerance for any sin is NOT a servant of Jesus Christ!

13:5 And Jesus answering them began to say, Take heed lest any man deceive you: 13:6 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

Wars and rumours of wars have always been a part of life; yet as this end time progresses, these wars are becoming more and more.

This now obviously coming regional war in the Middle East is a part of this prophecy of wars and rumours of war, and it will NOT be the end; yet it is also an essential part of setting up the conditions for a genuine dialogue for peace to ultimately fulfill 1 Thess 5:3.

13:7 And when ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, be ye not troubled: for such things must needs be; but the end shall not be yet.

These wars are not the end, however they are the beginning of the end time process.

13:8 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be earthquakes in divers places, and there shall be famines and troubles: these are the beginnings of sorrows.

The scriptures tell us that when peace and safety is declared, Jerusalem is surrounded by armies, and the final false prophet goes to the holy place; the great tribulation will begin.

At that time those of God’s people who heed the warnings will be taken to a place prepared of God; while Satan will go to attack and persecute those remaining behind.

Rev 12:13   And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14 And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.

15 And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away of the flood [of armies] . 16 And the earth helped the woman, and the earth opened her mouth, and [an earthquake destroyed the pursuers] swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out [satan had commanded] of his mouth.

Those who chose not to leave will be caught up in great tribulation and will repent and witness before all nations.

17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.

The corporate COG Groups  will NOT leave as a group, for the pillars are scattered individuals.

The TEST will be a choice between following God against what the corporate groups say; or following these corporate entities contrary to God’s true servants..  Those who fail that TEST will immediately repent when the tribulation falls upon them, and they shall witness before many often at the cost of their lives.

There is a mighty work about to begin by God’s two servants and by the repentant remnant of Laodicea!  Not an organizational work, but the personal; work of repentant individuals when the corporations are destroyed.

13:9 But take heed to yourselves: for they shall deliver you up to councils; and in the synagogues ye shall be beaten: and ye shall be brought before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them.

The true and complete Gospel will then be published to all nations by the two servants of God and the scattered repentant Laodicean remnant.  Then, AFTER the three angels proclaim the Gospel to the whole earth the end will come.

Rev 14:6   And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

Mark 13:10 And the gospel must first be published among all nations.  [In the tribulation]

13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 13:12 Now the brother shall betray the brother to death, and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and shall cause them to be put to death.

If we endure through the tribulation, repentant and zealous for God and all his commandments; as a true godly example for all people; the Laodicean shall be saved.

13:13 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

When the final false prophet goes to the holy place it will trigger the great tribulation.  The phrase “ (let him that readeth understand,)” strongly indicates that many will not understand this fact; and therefore will not heed the warnings of God’s two servants. Not seeing the danger the unrepentant Laodiceans will be caught up in the tribulation and will quickly repent becoming witnesses in their communities.

Daniel wrote that from the setting up of the abomination there shall be a maximum of 1,335 days until Christ comes.  Take 1,335 and subtract 1,260 days for the tribulation, and you will see that from the time he is set up in Rome it will take him 75 days to bring the New Europe together and then go to the Holy Place to trigger the tribulation.

During that 75 days we will learn the date that he plans to go to Jerusalem which will provide plenty of advance warning.

13:14 But when ye shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not, (let him that readeth understand,) then let them that be in Judaea flee to the mountains: 13:15 And let him that is on the housetop not go down into the house, neither enter therein, to take any thing out of his house:13:16 And let him that is in the field not turn back again for to take up his garment. 13:17 But woe to them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days! 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.

13:19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.

13:20 And except that the Lord had shortened those days [to 1260 days and cut them off, not allowing them to continue further], no flesh should be saved: but for the elect’s sake, whom he hath chosen, he hath shortened the days.

Jesus then warns of the lying wonders of false teachers including the final false prophet.  we are warned that wonders and miracles are not the sign of a man of God.  The sign of a man of God is that he DOES what God commands!

2 Thess 2:9   Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, 10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

If the worker of wonders who teaches falsely is not to be followed; What of the man who teaches tolerance for sin who does NO wonders?  You judge: Is he NOT to be followed as well?

Then seriously consider the leader who rejects sections of the Bible like Nehemiah to justify his false teachings.  Is he to be followed away from the commandments of God?

Deu 13   If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;

3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 Ye shall walk after the Lord your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.

Mark 13:21 And then if any man shall say to you, Lo, here is Christ; or, lo, he is there; believe him not: 13:22 For false Christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect.

13:23 But take ye heed: behold, I have foretold you all things.

Jesus confirms that he was speaking of events DURING the tribulation.  He then speaks of the heavenly signs and of the resurrection to spirit from wherever they are.

13:24 But in those days, after that tribulation, the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, 13:25 And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken.

13:26 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds with great power and glory. 13:27 And then shall he send his angels, and shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from the uttermost part of the earth to the uttermost part of heaven.

Jesus warns that when we see these things begin to happen [like a genuine dialogue for peace, the setting up of the abomination in the Vatican, the coming together of the New Europe and the making of the appointment of the final pope to visit the holy place]  we will know the date when the tribulation will start.

The generation that sees these things will not pass before Christ comes WITH his saints to set up the Kingdom of God over all the earth!

13:28 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When her branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is near: 13:29So ye in like manner, when ye shall see these things come to pass, know that it is nigh, even at the doors. 13:30 Verily I say unto you, that this generation shall not pass, till all these things be done. 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

At that time Jesus had not yet fulfilled his mission to die for the sins of his creation, and to rise to be accepted by the Father as the High Priest of our salvation.  Later in Rev 5 these things including the day that the Kingdom will be established were revealed to Christ.

Be careful here; it is certainly possible that Christ will come WITH his saints, some time BEFORE the Kingdom is established on the Feast of Pentecost, to destroy the enemy first and then to wait for the coronation day!

13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Be watchful, especially as you see these signs being fulfilled.  You need NOT be taken by surprise!  You have been warned!  You KNOW the signs!  Watch therefore as children of the light!

1 Thess 5:4   But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. 5 Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. 6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.

13:33 Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the [count of Daniel's days begins] time is.

13:34 For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.

13:35 Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 13:36 Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.

13:37 And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.

Mark 14

In those days it was customary as it is today to use the word “Passover” to mean the whole period of Passover and ULB.  The meaning here is that this was two days before the Passover day which is the day before the first High Day beginning the days of ULB..

These sought to kill Jesus and decided that it had to be done immediately; they them decided; not on the High Day, but to do it on two days hence on the Passover day.

1 After two days was the feast of the passover, and of unleavened bread: and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might take him by craft, and put him to death. 14:2 But they said, Not on the feast day [first day of ULB], lest there be an uproar of the people.

Jesus had been teaching his disciples about his coming death and they would not believe him, yet in a lesson of humility for them all a woman did believe and came to him with tears of the coming deat and anointed his head.

14:3 And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head.

Then was Judas grieved for he was the group treasurer and wanted to steal from the offerings and was unhappy that the woman anointed Jesus instead of giving the ointment as an offering.  It is clear that whole he sought personal gain, he also did not believe that Jesus was about to be killed.  He did not know that his betrayal would bring about the crucifixion of an innocent.

14:4 And there were some that had indignation within themselves, and said, Why was this waste of the ointment made? 14:5 For it might have been sold for more than three hundred pence, and have been given to the poor. And they murmured against her.

When Judas stirred up a ruckus with the other disciples Jesus intervened.

14:6 And Jesus said, Let her alone; why trouble ye her? she hath wrought a good work on me. 14:7 For ye have the poor with you always, and whensoever ye will ye may do them good: but me ye have not always. 14:8 She hath done what she could: she is come aforehand to anoint my body to the burying. 14:9 Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached throughout the whole world, this also that she hath done shall be spoken of for a memorial of her.

Then Judas was offended and went to the chief priests seeking the money he wanted there.  Judas betrayed Christ for money as many leaders of the Church of God betray the teachings and commandments of Christ today.

Think about it.  When we water down doctrine and the practical application of the commandments to gain more followers and money; WE ARE betraying Christ just as Judas did!  We do not understand what we are doing even as Judas did not understand what he was doing!

Satan is GLAD when we seek money instead of a close relationship with God through the diligent keeping of God’s commandments!  Satan is delighted when we sell our birthright to him for the transitory vapour that is physical wealth, instead of storing up spiritual wealth in heaven!

14:10 And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. 14:11 And when they heard it, they were glad, and promised to give him money. And he sought how he might conveniently betray him.

Passover and ULB were commonly spoken of as one feast,  because ULB was eaten with the Passover meal.  We know that this was Passover and not ULB because the priests had already said NOT on the High Day, Mark 14:2.

14:12 And the first day of unleavened bread, when they killed the [on Passover day the 14th day of the first month] passover, his disciples said unto him, Where wilt thou that we go and prepare that thou mayest eat the passover? [NOT the High Day of ULB]  14:13 And he sendeth forth two of his disciples, and saith unto them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man bearing a pitcher of water: follow him.

The disciples are told to make ready the Passover at a house [probably an inn that rents out rooms for large parties of guests]

14:14 And wheresoever he shall go in, say ye to the goodman of the house, The Master saith, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples? 14:15 And he will shew you a large upper room furnished and prepared: there make ready for us.

At sunset beginning the 14th day of the first month they would have taken a lamb for sacrifice according to the law which Christ obeyed in all of its points.  The lamb would have then been prepare and cooked for the Passover meal to begin about 9-10 pm.

14:16 And his disciples went forth, and came into the city, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

14:17 And in the evening [about 9-10 pm] he cometh with the twelve.

During the Passover meal Jesus spoke of the betrayer, an d the disciples wonder who the betrayer could be.

14:18 And as they sat and did eat, Jesus said, Verily I say unto you, One of you which eateth with me shall betray me. 14:19 And they began to be sorrowful, and to say unto him one by one, Is it I? and another said, Is it I?

Jesus replies that the betrayer would dip his piece of food in the dish of bitter herbs with him.

14:20 And he answered and said unto them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish.

Judas was chosen to do this deed and did not understand what he was doing.  When he realized that the priests were going to murder an innocent man Judas repented bitterly.  He will be forgiven for Jesus said that all things done against him will be forgiven Mat 12:32; yet Judas had disqualified himself to be a ruler over one of the tribes of Israel in the resurrection and he had lost his reward and the birthright of his calling.

14:21 The Son of man indeed goeth, as it is written of him: but woe to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! good were it for that man if he had never been born.

As the meal ended Jesus took unleavened bread which had always been commanded to be eaten with the Passover lamb; and explained the meaning of the U:B in regards to Passover.  He then did the same for the cup of wine which was also always taken with the Passover meal.

These were NOT new or changed symbols; they were always Passover symbols, Christ explained their meaning and why the ULB and wine were taken with Passover to his disciples.

14:22 And as they did eat, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. 14:23 And he took the cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them: and they all drank of it. 14:24 And he said unto them, This is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many.14:25 Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new [after Christ's resurrection]  in the kingdom of God.

The Passover Wine

In Christ’s day, we know for sure that two sanctified cups of wine were employed.

From that period, the first cup handed to the disciples to share was called the “Cup of Deliverance” and opened the Passover meal; and the second, the “Cup of Redemption” was drunk at the end of the meal.

These two cups were considered as Sanctified or Holy having been blessed; and other non sanctified wine would be drunk both before and after the official sanctified cups at the diner’s pleasure.

These traditional two Sanctified cups of wine explain the two cups of Luk 22.

The first cup opening the meal; then at the end of the meal, the Unleavened Bread; to be followed bu the “Cup of Redemption” picturing the blood of Christ shed abroad for us.

They then went out to the Mount of Olives just before midnight

14:26 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

Jesus then began to instruct his disciples in what was to happen beginning that very night.

14:27 And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. 14:28 But after that I am risen, I will go before you into Galilee.

Peter protests his loyalty

14:29 But Peter said unto him, Although all shall be offended, yet will not I. 14:30 And Jesus saith unto him, Verily I say unto thee, That this day, even in this night, before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. 14:31 But he spake the more vehemently, If I should die with thee, I will not deny thee in any wise. Likewise also said they all.

Jesus leaves his disciples and takes three to be with him as he prays

14:32 And they came to a place which was named Gethsemane: and he saith to his disciples, Sit ye here, while I shall pray. 14:33 And he taketh with him Peter and James and John, and began to be sore amazed [deeply sorrowful] , and to be very heavy; 14:34 And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: tarry ye here, and watch.

Jesus did not want to suffer as he did; yet he was obedient in all things to the will of the Father, as we also are to be.

14:35 And he went forward a little, and fell on the ground, and prayed that, if it were possible, the hour might pass from him. 14:36 And he said, Abba, Father, all things are possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

This was close to midnight and they had been up since early the previous morning and were very tired, still not understanding the terrible spiritual crisis about to fall on them.

14:37 And he cometh, and findeth them sleeping, and saith unto Peter, Simon, sleepest thou? couldest not thou watch one hour? 14:38 Watch ye and pray, lest ye enter into temptation. The spirit truly is ready, but the flesh is weak. 14:39 And again he went away, and prayed, and spake the same words.

Jesus knows that the hour has come for his betrayal.

14:40 And when he returned, he found them asleep again, (for their eyes were heavy,) neither wist they what to answer him. 14:41 And he cometh the third time, and saith unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: it is enough, the hour is come; behold, the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

14:42 Rise up, let us go; lo, he that betrayeth me is at hand. 14:43 And immediately, while he yet spake, cometh Judas, one of the twelve, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and the scribes and the elders.

Judas betrays with a kiss.

14:44 And he that betrayed him had given them a token, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he; take him, and lead him away safely. 14:45 And as soon as he was come, he goeth straightway to him, and saith, Master, master; and kissed him. 14:46 And they laid their hands on him, and took him.

A small riot develops which is quickly quelled the  readiness of Christ to be taken.

14:47 And one of them that stood by drew a sword, and smote a servant of the high priest, and cut off his ear. 14:48 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Are ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and with staves to take me? 14:49 I was daily with you in the temple teaching, and ye took me not: but the scriptures must be fulfilled.

ALL the 12 forsook Christ.

14:50 And they all forsook him, and fled.

14:51 And there followed him a certain young man, having a linen cloth cast about his naked body; and the young men laid hold on him: 14:52And he left the linen cloth, and fled from them naked.\

Jesus is taken to the High Priest for judgment

14:53 And they led Jesus away to the high priest: and with him were assembled all the chief priests and the elders and the scribes.

14:54 And Peter followed him afar off, even into the palace of the high priest: and he sat with the servants, and warmed himself at the fire.

No credible accusers could be found.

14:55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. 14:56 For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together. 14:57 And there arose certain, and bare false witness against him, saying, 14:58 We heard him say, I will destroy this temple that is made with hands, and within three days I will build another made without hands. 14:59 But neither so did their witness agree together.

14:60 And the high priest stood up in the midst, and asked Jesus, saying, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 14:61 But he held his peace, and answered nothing.

Then Jesus declares  that he is the Christ the son of God.

Again the high priest asked him, and said unto him, Art thou the Christ, the Son of the Blessed? 14:62 And Jesus said, I am: and ye shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

Jesus is convicted of blasphemy for declaring that he will sit with the God on his throne in heaven

14:63 Then the high priest rent his clothes, and saith, What need we any further witnesses? 14:64 Ye have heard the blasphemy: what think ye? And they all condemned him to be guilty of death.

Peter fulfills the prophecy of Christ and repents with tremendous bitter sorrow.

14:65 And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands. 14:66 And as Peter was beneath in the palace, there cometh one of the maids of the high priest: 14:67 And when she saw Peter warming himself, she looked upon him, and said, And thou also wast with Jesus of Nazareth.

14:68 But he denied, saying, I know not, neither understand I what thou sayest. And he went out into the porch; and the cock crew. 14:69 And a maid saw him again, and began to say to them that stood by, This is one of them.

14:70 And he denied it again. And a little after, they that stood by said again to Peter, Surely thou art one of them: for thou art a Galilaean, and thy speech agreeth thereto. 14:71 But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak.

14:72 And the second time the cock crew. And Peter called to mind the word that Jesus said unto him, Before the cock crow twice, thou shalt deny me thrice. And when he thought thereon, he wept [in bitter repentance].

Brethren, It is now very near midnight and behold the Bridegroom cometh!  We also can repent of our rejecting the teachings of, and compromising with the commandments of Jesus Christ.  Let us turn to our God with ALL our hearts in passionate deep sincere repentance and seek out his ways with all the strength that he gives us.  Let us salt our actions with sincere loving obedience to all of God’s will; that we may become a sweet savor to God.
